To me it looks these days Di Marzio don't report any kind of unconfirmed shit, shady rumors, his own opinions or his perceptions of the rumors but just pure facts. Since he doesn't report that much anymore, only certain things which are really happening.

So he's kind of like useless in the sense that it's only a matter of time before things he reports comes put anyway. Surely he's usually the first one to report when the deal is done.

This had been reported by FCIN ages ago. It's not really news. Speaking of FCIN, they had reported our 7m loan with option to buy for 18m offer to Atletico for Vrsaljko a week ago. They're not as unreliable as people may think. Of course they don't get everything right but they don't always report bs rumours.

We are actually learning because midfield of Gagliardini 23, Joao Mario 24, Kondogbia 24, Brozovic 24, Banega 29, Medel 29 didn't yield anything. We need top level quality players at low cost which are rare breeds.

I think the reluctance here is because of the position/style of play. Milito's position only requires a moment or two of brilliance and he can win the game. Lucio and Miranda are defenders. They need to be aware for the full length of the game, but mostly only come into play when the opponent has the ball.

The position Vidal plays requires a fully focused 90 minutes of running. And unlike Modric (who is a passer), Vidal's greatest skill has been to disturb the opponents play. This skill relies heavily on stamina/physique.

It is alright to built a team with a small number of experienced players but it has to be a mix. Experience in a combination with a hunger to improve is the key.

Both Vidal and Nainggolan are well known for their physique. Guess what trait that normally goes down with age. Yup, physique.
