It is alright to built a team with a small number of experienced players but it has to be a mix. Experience in a combination with a hunger to improve is the key.

When were Banega, Melo or Podolski top players as Milito or Lucio? here's my logic.

Vidic came to us as a "dead player". Vidal isn't close to that.

Chill bros. I think everyone understands that Vidal is not the ideal, he is old and may decline. But he is currently a top level player. Buying a younger player who can play at that level (say Pogba or SMS) is beyond our means right now. For a club of Inter's ambitions, we need starters who are of this level. For some who think we should buy Barella instead, he is a kid who will take at least 2 years to be able to play at that level consistently.

An analogy for this situation (I know its not perfect, no analogies are) is if we did not have Icardi, and our two options were to either buy Higuain or stick with Karamoh as our main striker. For all of Karamoh's talent, he is not ready to lead Inter's attack at the mo. It would be Inter management's responsibility that if we cannot afford to buy a Icardi (i.e. SMS) then we must buy Higuain (i.e. Vidal) for the short term and hope that young Karamoh can learn from Higuain and grow into this role.

Ideally Inter should sell Mario and Vecino, and replace them with Vidal and Barella. One top level experienced champion to teach a great young talent, who can potentially reach that level in 2 years time.

Unfortunately, I believe Barella will be sold off by summers end. Even if he doesn't this summer, if he has another consistent year, that price tag will stick or something close to it will.

Just to clarify, I am all for getting Vidal. Especially if you envision the partnership with Nainggolan, I expect a disciplined box to box dominance we haven't seen since... Well I can't really remember any real period we had that but it should be fun and exciting - if we're able to pull this off.

I also thought same thing, but someone here said that if we sell Vecino we can include him in CL instead other player, like K-dog for exm'. We sold K-dog for 25M, and if we sell Vecino for 35M, we can include him and than we'll have 10M more in CL list.

But, i don't think Spalletti would like to sacrifice Vecino, we need depth. I believe that if we sell Vecino (and Mario of course), it will be to sign Barella and Vidal, or maybe other target we don't know of.

My wish, is to end the summer with this midfield - Brozo, Radja, Gags, Vidal, Vecino, Emmers and Valero. I don't role out Rafinha signing in last minute of the mercato.
