'The last three years are not what a team like Barcelona deserves. The best team in the world cannot have 13 professional players. You cannot always win with DNA.'
-Vidal

Just to satisfy Conte's weird, granda fetishes, Y'all want this kind of attitude in our "drama-free","professional","non-toxic" dressing room?

If Vidal fails which he will because if he had anything left in him he would have showed it at Barca with the likes of Messi, Alba, Arthor etc this will speed up the process of firing Conte and Marotta.

I really hope Vidal rejects Inter and goes to Juve. And Conte gets into next season with out all tge experienced players requested.

This will not happen, for reasons already mentioned here. Regarding firing Conte & Marotta: won`t happen very soon, Zhang is in love with him.

Inter tried to sign him in winter but couldn`t. We then went on to sign Alexis (same agent with Vidal) on a free contract, which was a masterstroke. The same seems to be happening again, instead Inter paying €8-10m for Vidal, he will ask his contract to be terminated by mutual consent (golden handshake). Inter have practically left negotiation for Arturo Vidal in the hands of his agent Fernando Felicevich who must negotiate severance pay for his client in order to release him from Barcelona contract.

Vidal is said to earn almost €9 million a year in his final year. The only thing that remains to be clarified is how high the compensation package will be – Vidal would be entitled to another €9 million until his contract expires in 2021. He is expected to sign a two-year deal with Inter.

The Chilean, who does not want to force things, attended training yesterday and he should be there again today. According to the Corriere dello Sport, it is not his interest to break off this relationship since Vidal has already been informed that he is not part of Koeman’s plan: keeping a relaxed environment is the best solution to achieve what is desired.

It always pisses me off when people use the word "DNA" in football terms. Shut the fuck up, you probably don't even know what DNA is.

"It is in our DNA to win"...

...but anyway where would he play?

We have three spots: a play in Brozovic (without his sub Valero now), a "box-to-box" player in Barella (are we even thinking of bench him?) and a more creative position in Eriksen and Sensi. He would make no sense in any spot. Je can't be the play, he can't be the sub for Barella and can't put Barella in the bench, so where? Are we giving up the "creative spot" and sell (or not redeem) one between Eriksen and Sensi?

I don't see how this would work... I hope there are just rumors.

We used to play with Brozo as regista and two mezzalas in Barella + Sensi. Basically a symmetric formation where the mezzalas draws themselves to the flanks when building our game. I guess Vidal fits there just fine with Barella to be a mezzala.

Having both Vidal and Nainggolan in our midfielder would be a great idea.. 3 years ago.

Vidal would have been great for our scudetto "push" last season. Granted, even last season he had clearly declined from his prime, but that was probably the last decent year he'd have.

Now at 33, for a box to box, you are really pushing it.

Why should he? Hes not European.

South American players tend to easily get passports if they play long enough in Spain or Portugal, but I don't know about the length requirements in Germany or Italy and Vidal only will end up spending two seasons in Barcelona. In Spain, for anyone from a South American country, you have to have established residence within the country for at least two years before you apply for a Spanish passport, and Vidal will fall short of that.
