I don't bash him for yesterday. I don't bash him at all. Just saying he is no more than mediocre. Decent closer range passing and decent off the ball movement, that's all he has. He is slow, clumsy, bad defensive positioning, my god very bad shooting, and so on.

I also don't think we are anywhere near youth project lol. We never were. That takes years of patience, something neither the fans or the management have.

Even if he is just a rotational player, probably better someone than him then spending millions for someone like Melo to do the same role. Although I'd rather we gave more chance to someone like Benassi.

Absolutely.

Our bench should've already be filled with youth products, such as Santon. I'm underlining bench, cause those players we produce often are more than good enough for a rotational role - the likes of Duncan, Gnokouri, Benassi, Santon, etc. If not our youth, at least young and upcoming players ala Caprari from Serie B.

For all the Mudingayis, Kuzmanovics and Melos we could've given them time instead and we wouldn't have spent a cent on trash players we don't really need. Not only - those guy demand high wages, take time to settle and so on.

For starters, of course - we can splash the cash for some top of the cream talent.

The situation at Inter isn't helping him at all.

The fact that we haven't loaned him out is just plain stupid. Last year he just rotted on the bench instead of improving himself on another team in Italy. I really think if he wasn't here he would be thriving already under proper guidance. :palm:

I don't think that he is mediocre because he is too young and far from completed product to be claimed as "mediocre". He needs time and proper guidance to improve his weaknesses.

He's doing an adequate job and can be relied upon to be the 4th/5th choice despite his young age. He can only improve. Having a backup like him in the squad is preferable to buying someone like Kuzmanovic or the like to play backup.

The latest rumor is that we have agreed to loan him to Crotone for the remainder of the season.

He still need to decide if he wants to go there or not...

Tbh Id rather sell him, I can't see him becoming anything special for us, even though his wages aren't big compared to other players, he might not have the necessary qualities to make it in a club like Inter

Back to normal Inter mode when dealing with its youngsters. We'll probably buy him back in 2025, or he'll end up at Juve or Milan.

Next is Pinamonti. Mark my words. :work:

Just like we're getting Bonazzoli back, or how we kept loaning Longo in hopes of him becoming a good player, or Puscas, or Bessa...

Despite Inter and Crotone having an agreement over Assane Gnoukouri, PremiumSport report that Udinese have entered the fray and are pushing to try and secure the Ivorian.

I read that INTER decided to let him go this winter. Makes sense, Assane needs to play and grow - he won`t be able to do that here. So it's the best for all if he gains more playing time.

Sadly with the money we have injected into the club, Gnoukouri probably won't ever has a place in the first team here. I'd try and push through a swap deal involving Meret or Scuffet in return.

Well he`s either waaaaaaay too optimistic and can`t see it, or he just does not want to leave for such a club with limited facilities.

Crotone have been notified of Assane Gnoukouri‘s decision to reject a move to Calabria, Gazzetta dello Sport report.

Now Udine on the other hand, can offer much more. Hope he goes on LOAN and actually plays.

It would be even better if he goes to Udinese. Surely a way better team than Crotone.

oh, please no, not with udinese. they don't do football, they are dealers. they would try to insert a buy clause for them, sure as hell. and a low one at that. at least at crotone he would play. he would even shine compared to his teammates.

Chievo in the run for Inter's Gnoukouri

Chievo has been added to the list of suitors for Inter's Alassane Gnoukouri after Udinese, Crotone and Leganes by asking Inter for some info on the player. Chievo are on the player as precaution, in case Castro is sold (Mihajlovic's Torino is pressing) and Radovanovic has offers from China.

Chievo? I'd believe it if he were 33. They don't do youth there.

Inter’s young Ivorian midfielder Assane Gnoukouri has been linked to a host of clubs this transfer window with Chievo and Crotone being the hottest leads.

Rome-based Corriere dello Sport now suggest that Palermo have joined the two aforementioned clubs in the race to sign the player whose future looks further and further away from the black and blue side of Milano.
