It's great away win, and few great things like:
we rested adriano oba veron cambiasso
even figo

recoba did 90 minutes, defence played well (you guys said that, I'll belive you)
pizarro also did 90 minutes

great great, now let's win against fiorentina and let's continue with this great results (screw palermo)

we play a very good first half but the last 15 minutes were really horrible, we give the ball to them and fortunately chievo don't have the quality of other teams like palermo.... the last minutes i was suffering a lot.
if we are winning 0-1 to a team like chievo we must kill the match with another goal, if the team is palermo or udinese it's ok but chievo no.
I'AM HAPPY FOR SAMUEL AND DEFINITELY I CAN SAY PIZARRO AND VERON CAN'T PLAY TOGETHER, THEY ARE 2 BRAINS.

What a difficult game it was, all you people wanting Recoba to start "stop watching those compilations!" They mislead you.

This guy was terrible today, he could of had a hatrick with headers except he got scared in every single one, What a joke.

an average match..
not that great nor bad at all

keypoints:

wingers were rock solid.

1st half stats:

shot on goals: Inter 8 - chievo 0

cruz - average match for him, could've convert 1 goal at least if he move a bit faster.

Recoba - could've scored at least 2. jimmy fontana played good to block his shots. (perhaps he knew recoba's curling style during practice hehe)

wingers/midfield

figo - solid. although he could've done better. personally i dont mind at all that he dribble passing 1-2 players on the wing. his crosses were also good and he just need to improve his physical level now to be able to annihiliate other teams left flank

stankovic - almost good from average performance. he also has 2 great chances. perhaps he also very effective on the left last night. yet, he too, can stil improve as figo.

pizzaro - almost invincible last night. perhaps due to our superiority on both wings, he can only watch the crosses from left and right

cristiano - he too, can only little support on the defensive end. his tackle is still rockin, but offensively, he is in the same phase as pizzaro

defense

favalli - his game level is improving along the way, most likely he will be the regular left back for mancini as he can convince the boss that he can secure the area. although chievo's winger wasn't that threathening, he too, can also help to support stan to do some overlapping manouvers upfront

matrix - an ok performance, he did his job regularly, no major blunder that caused a goal though..

samuel - can't really judge him based on 1 game only. although he created several heading chances from corners and crossings, finally he scored his first goal with Inter. his defensive skill is still tested with the formation with matrix in the middle. he too, sometimes going a bit too far from his post and luckily he can stop the ball. (can't do that against sneaky players like ibra or kaka)

cordoba - as usual, much better job done in right back than ze maria. his speed and heading was pretty much secured inter's right back. although, he tried to do some wing back job with figo, that didn't succeed very well.

cesars - wasn't tested that much. thanks to the defensive wall and too, chievo's didn't cause that much problems last night

overall. defensive look a bit better with samuel on the mid and cordoba in right. can't wait until javier is back from his rest.

on wings, we're pretty much covered now, midfield, pizzaro and veron definitely can't be played in the same time.

attack: cruz and recoba are getting used to be a true subs players. they seem not very comfort to start from the beginning . vice versa, adriano played for almost 35 minutes. he seems just doing some conditioning works replacing cruz. hope he can roars against fiorentina, rest against rangers, and annihiliate juve with no mercy

Actually we did beat them before and that was on Nov 2 2003 with two goals from veiri and recoba

anyways about yesterdays win i think figo was our best player but i dont think he will improve like most of u think, this is the best football figo will offer inter and if he is going to change it will be for the worst not for the best because old players tend to have good starts to the season but just fade away as the season goes on. but i hope figo proves my theory wrong
