Chalon! where do u keep disappearing too!?! lol

haha actually I'm here everyday, but I don't post as much as I used to.

About the game, I think Recoba did really good, testing Fontana several times and moving good, good passes too.....you're right about the headers tho, but that's not his thing. My favorite partnerhips would be Recoba-Adriano.

C.Zanetti did really good, but it's hard to leave Cambiasso out of a game, difficult situation.
I was happy to see that Figo is getting back to his old form.

What a difficult game it was, all you people wanting Recoba to start "stop watching those compilations!" They mislead you.

This guy was terrible today, he could of had a hatrick with headers except he got scared in every single one, What a joke.

Recoba did well, couple of good shots, it was just an inform Fontana that stopped him from scoring, instead, why don't you blame the invisible cruz? the goal scoring chance he missed was just astonishing

Invisible Cruz? Only highlights seen but he went for balls really well. Goal was only thing missed. Instead Recoba really seemed to be afraid of headers. Incredibile. He only can shoot from 30 meters.

Recoba did well, couple of good shots,

Yeah if that's doing well. Couple of shots from 30 meters which Fontana took well.

It seems like we dominated the game, probably we should have scored more goals, but hey we can't complain it was a nice victory on a difficult
pitch. Now let's get ready for the upcoming fixture against red hot Viola,
and hopefully our coach stops experimenting with the midfield duo of
Veron-Pizzaro by playing them together as they do not complement each-
other  :fero: anyway FORZA INTER :star:

Player ratings please....
AGain!? heh at least u know i dont overrate players.

Julio Cesar - 6. Only cause he did nothing.

Matrix - 7 great performance, really shook up their strikers with his style and because of this they couldnt play their normal game.
Samuel - 6 still not settled in, he looked shaky at times
Cordoba - 6 oh god, we are wastin him at RB
Favalli - 7 wow, another good performance.

Cambiasso - 6.5 his usual self, nothing to flashy tonight.
Pizarro - 8 before Veron came on, 6 after Veron came on... anyway Before Veron came on, Mancini's instructions were clear, from defence give the ball to pizarro! and he would always run all the way back to which ever center back has it. e.g. He would run like 20 meters to be in 1 meter or Samuel and then take the ball off him, and everything goes through him. His great to watch.

Stankovic - 6.5 Below par compared to last couple of weeks
Figo - 6 His really run out of gas, his struggling big time i think its fitness.

Cruz - 6 Didnt really do anything, for me i was very very disappointed, especially the shots he missed! he had a header from like half a meter and somehow got it over the bar.

Recoba - 5.5 terrible, scared to header a ball. There was one time where Figo faked a cross on his right foot and then turned on his left and crossed it. This means the ball swang towards goal, it went str8 to Recoba, if he had got a nose on it then it would of gone in! instead he pulled away with this frightened look and it went out.

Cruz+Recoba. does not work...

no need for the rest really. Disappointed that Mancini didnt put on Solari for Figo.

Unfortunately i didn´t see the match, but winning away match againts Chievo was great indeed. Great because Mancini changed so many players yet again. I just dont get it that why is Mancini changing so many players when he knows that away game against Chievo isn´t going to be an easy task. Now we won and after the game it´s easy to say that the gamble was a success. Allthought Chievo could/should have drawn the game after seeing all their chances at the end...

Another thing. I watched the ratings (didn´t vote myself ´cause i didnt see the match) from inter.it and now i finally know why is £igo praised all the time whatever he does. Other players have had about 850 votes so far, £igo has had 1100. I bet people rate him high even when they dont see the match(es).

All in all, difficult match which we won. Well done RAGAZZI!!!!

Didn't score a header? Helal since when do you start watching Recoba? he played better than a inferior player in Cruz and was only prevented a goal by a blinding game by Fontana.

I don't want to be rude mate but you seem pretty clueless and spoilt, he was out from competitive action for 5months due to injury, this was his first game in a few weeks, and he did very well, and don't talk about compliations, maybe if you watched one you would see like many other great players Recoba never scores headers, yet he can score from anywhere with his left foot, a left foot that is unmatched by any player in the world, and its not all flash in the pan, he averages a goal every other game based on minutes and his assist per minute ratio has been number one in SerieA for three seasons in row atleast, but yeah bash the guy because you just realised headers are not one of his great talents, he is a second striker and a great one at that.

If Mancini played him week in week out, come the end of the season you would eat your words, he'd outperform Del Piero Kaka or Totti if he got their number of games and its proven.

Maybe i seem 'clueless' to you, but to everybody you seem biased mate.

There is no excuse to pull your head out of a simple header that only needs a cats whisker to be turned into the goal, thats all im criticising him for Im not talking about his talent so dont lecture me about how his an enigma and needs more time please.

Helal..I am not gonna judge him based on the headers come on now.Its his first game in a long time and he did well considering its a tough game to come back in.If it wasnt for FOntana he would have scored..

He definately wasnt the worse player on the pitch that you make him out to be.

Im not saying HE is terrible, but I do question his game. He had some good shots, but he really let it down in other things.

My opinion anyway

It is the usual read. People expect MAGIC from Chinito in every game he plays. Few goals – perhaps 1 with a free kick and so on. Certainly if either of Oba or Adri had the same performance people wouldn’t praise them, however they would NOT criticise them either.

Hence I find both Helal’s and El Chino Recoba’s posts a bit over the top! ;)

There seems to be a trend that all eyes concentrate at one member of the team, last week the argument was about Cambiasso and now Recoba...

I am just happy we won and the players that played got a chance and those that didnt got rested...at least for most of the game.

Ziyad theres a difference between calling sombody terrible and calling a performance terrible.

And Ashkan, im not only doing this cause its REcoba, to say that is pathetic on your part and mine. If Adriano was the one who missed those chances for getting scared to heada ball then make no mistake i would mention it to.

I certainly hope so. As I said peoples expectations (fans and sadly even within the club) about him is unfortunately higher than most, if not all other players at our club. You only need to be in the stadium, or an Italian bar among fellow Interisti to experience it. From the hype they make out of him when he is warming up as if he is going to save it all for us. And then he only needs to make 1 first false step or mistake for the swearing and booo’ing to shower down the pitch.
