I think they are fairly certain the bid will be accepted, you don't go around saying you v made the bid if you are not certain of it. Something is not right with this transfer. How long have we been reading that the deal has been done and it is only a matter of time? And yet Ausillo only came out last night and acknowledged that we had just made an offer to Spurs. That confirmation is in line with what Mourinho said over the weekend, that Spurs were yet to receive an offer for the player. From what I have read, the offer we made was 11 million + bonuses. Whilst other sources are saying that we have made an increased offer of 18 million.

Personally, I do not think that Eriksen to Inter is a given. The amount of time it is taking to close this deal makes me think that something is not right. And perhaps the worst part is that with Brozovic's injury, in the event Eriksen does arrive, we do not actually have an extra available midfielder.
