Beppe must stop fucking around. Having Eriksen in the team right now is more important than saving a few millions. If this fall then Beppe must take 100% of the blame for fucking up an easy transfer

Eriksen would have scored today, at last 1 goal. Specialy that free kick where Gabriel gave so much space to shot...Sensi shot was terrible. And generelly, seems like Sensi is not the same after this injuries. Maybe he needs some game, i don't know...
Exactly.

And now Eriksen gon’ be like “oh, Inter tied to Lecce? Maybe joining them isn’t such a good idea after all...”

We should’ve just ponied up the cash a week ago. Practice or no practice he coulda been an impact sub in this game.

But then how would 35 year old Valero get the minutes he needs to develop?

yeah the same thing i was thinking...we really need another midfielder and it's not important if it's not Vidal because we also need someone who can make the diffrence. Normally it's Sensi to make it but apparently i was expceting to much from someone who was injured for so many months.

I think we can't expect from Eriksen to win us every game because we are a team. That means everyone has to do his job. Be it Lukaku, Lautaro, Barella, Sensi.. Eriksen comes to improve this team and to give more quality. We have Sensi and Eriksen for that position. That gives us more options and more creativity, it will help us a lot to be more dangerous, specialy in games like that.
BUT, the defensive problem is still there. Today we could have won with some goal more, But we could have also defended that lead much better. We can't expect to score every game more then 1 goal, so this problem will always be there, with Eriksen or without.
Im not saying that Eriksen is useless, he still will make a diffrence. But we really need to resolve this defensive fuck ups, we are conceding too easily, it's annoying and ridiciolous.

Lmao to think us dicking around over a few million won't stop another club run by competent people from stepping in and signing him...

It's like Inter fans are goldfish, and have all forgotten the number of times this has happened in the past. Hell, it happened 6 months ago with Lukaku.

Yeah, I think it will be only after Cagliari. Marotta will take his time to haggle and in the end pays that 20m€. :D

Karma is bitch. Eriksen worth 80M and we can get him for 20, but its still too much for us and we want to pay "only" 15M.

Now Brozo is out for long. As i said, Karma is a bitch.

Can we just get a fucking move on please.

Seemed like this deal was 95% done a few days ago but the last 5% seems to be dragging out. And now we're hearing Friday?

There's less than 2 weeks remaining this window and we haven't done shit yet, besides signing yet another mediocre WB.

Speaking of WB's, do we know for sure whether the Spinazzola/Young transfers are even related? It seemed to me that when the Spinazzola deal was nearing completion, the Young transfer came to a complete halt, so I assumed it was one or the other. Indeed, as soon as the Spinazzola deal fell through, we signed Young.

However, we keep hearing rumors claiming that Young was going to be signed irrespective of Spinazzola, and it sounds like Dimarco will go on loan to Verona. If this is true, it means Young is a replacement as opposed to an addition, and it implies we're still in the market for another WB, even after signing Young.

There's been reports that Lazaro is a done deal to Newcastle at €2m loan + €20m option. I'm strongly against this move, but if he does leave, we need to replace him. And this is where the Victor Moses reports come in....

I absolutely will not blame us for the Politano/Spinazzola bullshit for reasons I posted in the Politano thread. I'm not looking for someone to blame in general though. That is unimportant to me. The important thing is that Politano is still here. He's still our problem to solve, and time is running out to solve it.

Also, despite the denials of the agent etc, it seems like there is definitely something going on with Vecino. Sounds like there is concrete intention to sell him now.

If everything I've listed is accurate, we currently have at least six deals to complete:

1. Sign Eriksen
2. Sign Giroud (or fucking Llorente)
3. Sign another WB (potentially Moses)
4. Sell Politano
5. Sell Vecino
6. Sell Lazaro

Pending Brozovic's injury update, we may even need to sign another midfielder, but I won't get my hopes up.

This mercato started off well but its turning real shit, real quick - and time is running out. Again, the Politano/Spinazzola deal was unfortunate. We would've crossed off #3 and #4 from that list but things didn't work out.

You might argue things are closer to completion than I make them out to be. After all, we could wrap up the Eriksen signing in a few days, loan Dimarco out, sell/loan Vecino out, swap Politano for Llorente, loan Lazaro to Newcastle and bring in Victor Moses for quite cheap. But that all just seems so fucking unsatisfactory to me.

Our long-term objectives are far more important than Conte's insane desire to win the league this year, admirable though it may be. I just hope we don't make difficult those long-term objectives by foolishly overextending ourselves by bringing in all of Conte's old mates on short-sighted deals.

Huh. Takes me by surprise no one got I was joking on that part. Probably my fault, I forget there aren't a lot of Americans here. The " gon' " was meant to be a cue that I was aping an ignorant down-south hick (the people who voted Trump into office), combined with the running joke that FiF is generally hyper-negative about everything. As opposed to say, RnB, who think they are signing 3 top names every window even though they're broke.

But clearly we're brothers of the world, as I'm the only American on this page. So, yeah, I don't know why I thought anyone would get the reference. I shall have to remember to use a smiley or something next time. :)

10 days left, and the buzz around this guy somehow stopped.

I dont know how good or bad Moses is, but he can't be that much better from Politano.

We're making some desperate buys, again... Spent 20 days on Eriksen rumors, just to land Young :D ... And very soon Moses.

Candreva is still here... Lol, Vecino too... Can't believe someone like Conte to be so biased and play Candreva only because he is Italian...

Today, tomorrow and actually until Friday we will be having all kinds of Moses rumors, then it's matchday weekend, transfer buzz off those days, then Monday again "blitz for Moses, here is the formula" type of titles...

So yeah. Eriksen should've been in the bench against Lecce. That's how much late we are...

Moses transfer doesn't bother me much since it will be a loan with right of redemption and we all know how Inter is notorious in not exercising the options to buy the players they loan. However, it does mean that WB saga will continue in summer but we all got used to that and I don't think the situation will change in foreseeable future. At least we will hopefully return the money invested on Lazaro.

As for extra midfielders, yesterday's reports suggested that Brozo had ankle distortion and, depending on the extent, it can be 15 to 45 days. That being said,we all know how seemingly minor injuries become very serious in this club so I think we will come back for extra midfielder as we have a shortage of them:

1)Barella
2)Sensi
3)Borja
4)Hopefully Eriksen
5)Gags- injured, da valutare
6)Brozo- injured, da valutare
7)Candreva- emergency option,in this case Moses gonna play on the right
8)Young-emergency option, Van Gaal deployed him as a CM in couple of matches during his tenure
9) Agoume- young (no pun intended) apprentice, not ready physically for Serie A intensity

Since we gonna have EL and at least two matches there and probably another two in the last 16, we will probably need another midfielder "just in case" or risk witnessing Borja-Young-Candreva abomination of the midfield if injury saga continues or in case of disqualifications. I don't know who it will be-I don't want 35-year olds here anymore but we won't be able to sign anyone young and promising-nobody will agree to sit on the bench and surely we are not buying Vidal.

The reason why I think we will buy second midfielder is that EL has so many bad teams and we will have good chance to get somebody really bad after Ludogorets who won't be able to beat us even when we will be clearly sandbagging. Thus, we will have at least 6 extra matches in the EL. This means that February-March will be busy (don't forget that international friendlies are returning too so Barella and Sensi will definitely play there just like Eriksen and Brozo) and new reinforcements will be needed.

If i was levy i d ask for an additional 5 mios because brozo is injured.

Like we put all our eggs in to one basket and that is that eriksen wants to come tottenham has to sell, well now with brozo out our bargaining power significantly decreased.

Also if we would have just paid those 20 mios we d have a decent replacement for brozo in our next game now we re all gonna see borja or vecino for another 90 mins jus avoiding that would have been worth the extra 5 mio.
