Will probably leave Atletico in the summer. Possibly Arg NT and Inter will be linked with him. but i wonder if we are interested in him now... after all..

Don’t think Argentina will look to him now, even if they lose the final. Maybe he orchestrates a mutual contract extermination with atleti. Only way we’d be able to work with him while paying limone’s buyout. I still feel that a defensive minded Simeone would be better suited to Inter than Simone and his BFF Joaquin Correa. I feel like Simeone was the perfect successor to Mourinho, but, as fate decided, we would have to endure pure banter until Mr. Rube himself brought us back to the scudetto. I guess even more banter? What a long strange trip it’s been. ANYWAY, I digress, I’m still in favor of bringing Simeone in after this season, if possible.

Are we going to pay Simone with peanuts?

Our being broke is not limited to player acquisitions. It also extends to the hiring and firing of coaches.

He's a top level coach but he should be kept in check in terms of recruitment. Atletico made a lot of questionable transfers and we certainly wouldn't be able to afford such shortcomings.

Fuck him and his terrorist football. If he ruined our title chance with Thuram's injury, he deserves his thread to be in Flamer's paradise.

If Inter played like this and won everyone would be rambling on here about how the 3 points is all that matters and not the performance.

People might remember that I was supporter of Spalletti when we played quasi-champagne football and that I genuine think that if the team has the capability to play better football than park-the-bus, that it should.

Inzaghi winning against Simeone shows to me that Simeone is becoming too much of a one trick pony, overcompensating with nasty challenges and theatrics instead of playing football

I would rather play against a more talented group of players with a mediocre coach, than this Atletico led by Simeone. For better or worse they are a team.

I hope this guy will never coach Inter. So sick of him, and it's not because of our match. I can't have respect for someone who is known for unsportsmanship and what the fuck ever else. Hopefully we kick their asses in Wanda Metropolitano as well. Piece of shit.

Somethings never change: get outplayed and fall behind, get physically nasty, and throw in some shoving after the whistle, complain to ref and maybe things change, but not today.
Expect them to be absolutely seething at home, it's bound to get brutal and bloody.

But why would we get this low though? Since Spalletti joined in 2017 (fuck, it was 7 years ago), we have been playing decent football while getting progressively better. Why would we even think about 'played like this but win'?

Even under Conte, our football was still very decent. It was rigid and not very creative, but also not negative and nasty.

Under Conte we also scored lots. Playing like this (how Atletico plays) is not what I would want Inter to be known for.

Atletico also scores a lot, under Diego it was just the years where Barcelona and Real scored 130 a year that he was hiding the entire team in a shell as that was the only way to beat them.

Last few years they score just as much as those guys who have levelled down to earth.

And he won't be that guy if he's at Inter. He'll work with what he got. Maybe in Europe he'll be that when he has to, just like Mourinho.

I don't want Simeone at Inter. I want Inzaghi at Inter. :D
Yeah what's with the talk of Simeone here? We've been playing the best football in years. Scoring a lot, conceding very few, reaching a CL final just last year. I'm confused ppl still throwing around Simeone's name wtf

We can still play like we play, I'm just not sure they won't try to also injure Pavard, Lautaro and Barella

None of Inter's starters are safe, by Jove.
