Hate Manure with a passion, but damn, I feel bad for Moyes. Always respected the guy.

Tbh Moyes showing that English managers are horse shit. All he did at Everton was rely on Baines to score free kicks, or assist Fellaini headers. Fergie wasn't a great tactician either, but these last few minutes, the mentality of the team would have been a lot different.

I feel bad for him too, but he wasn't the right choice for this team. They should have gotten Mourinho.

Heck, even Gary Neville would probably do a better job at this moment.

Half arsed post with almost everything wrong, wait not almost everything wrong it's everything wrong.

Moyes is not English. He is British.
Check how many assists Baines had and how many Everton scored.
Fergie won 13 League titles just by motivating :palm:

Gary Neville has grand total of 0 days managerial experience :palm:

I'm mad at Moyes for his pathetic team selections but posts like these are just :palm:

- - - Updated - - -

was he not hand picked by SAF himself ?

Cut from the same table cloth or whatever the shit phrase that is :palm:

Moyes should learn quick and should make some tough decisions on senior players if he wants to make any progress this season. Till date he looked like a Senior players pet animal and bending for them.

I'm very very curious what Man Utd will do to David Moyes should the results continue this way. Their patience in keeping Sir Alex, despite the mediocre results in his first seasons, has always been a benchmark for trigger-happy football chairmans. But that was then, when pressure was not as high, and when I THINK Man Utd was not a champions-calibre club. Let's see if they will have the same patience with Moyes.

I personally think they won't, and they shouldn't. From the get-go, I think this was a marriage doomed to fail and there are plenty managers who would jump at the chance of managing Man Utd.

That was in 80s and SAF achieved far more than Moyes. He won league with club not named Celtic or Rangers and also Cups. Biggest of them all he won cup winners cup with a small team from Scotland against Madrid.

Plus like you said he needed to clean up the squad and build from scratch. I don't think Moyes will be fired after just 1 season as according to the management it's a long term plan and that's why he signed 6 year contract.

IMO sometimes firing managers can be good thing for club (not saying Moyes should be). It helped Bayern immensely as each manager brought something to the first team and not they have perfect team.

Moyes is not English. He is British.

I meant EPL coaches. I never said Fergie was a bad tactician, just not a great one. Moyes is neither a great tactician, nor a motivator.

Forget team selection, this team seems like it has no chemistry to it, the central midfield is horrendous, they can't expect Carrick to pull strings in EPL and CL combined. Fellaini imo is much more suited to be a physical attacking mid.

They should have made at least 2 CM signings over the summer and 1 CB.

Moyes reminds me of Stramaccioni, he had no system in place, just relied on individuality. It seems Moyes plan is kick it to Rooney then hope he pulls something out of hat and assists RVP.

Forget the league title, this team would be lucky to make CL spots at this rate. They made a grave mistake not bringing in Mourinho.

Gnabry with the debut goal. (A no name in Germany) And Piers' buddy Ramsey yet again.

I'm not fully convinced about Moyes but that bold part is a load of shit and I'm sure you never watched Everton play. They played as a team, probably more than any other team.

Good thing about the club is they are willing to give time to build his team and even if it doesn't work so what? We don't have divine right to win every season. We won a lot under Fergie and at times we can afford to make mistakes and learn from them like any other club.

Strange tbh, Arsenal fans rate him very highly. They rate him as the next superstar in their team.

Now.. be careful with that.. because that was how Arsenal fans ended thinking 4th place EPL = a champions league title.

Missed a chunk of the first half, but Ramsey seems legit :notbad:

There's this grinta element I saw last night in Arsenal that I haven't seen in years. But I still don't think their squad is good enough to win the EPL. It's refreshing that there is no clear cut runaway leader this season.
