A group of Albanians used a drone to fly around over the pitch with a flag just to annoy the Serbians and then they get three free points for this? What the fuck. Justice would be a draw. I know the Serbians acted like monkeys after this happened but I still don't think Albania should be 'awarded' with three free points. I know they got a fine too but it isn't enough.

we had no "official" fans in the stadium so that argument makes no sense.

ofc it would be a draw since pussified north european bitch only when something doesn't go their way, and deal justice to the third world where everything should be divided equally without having no knowledge of the thing whatsoever.

Albania a third world country? Holy shit.

It has nothing to do with Denmark or Portugal but this is about how future cases must be handled. Everyone can stand outside the stadium with a drone and fly it into the stadium with a flag or a message and with no consequences other than a small fine.

Lets see if the Serbians will try to do something similar next time Albania meets them. It would be good fun but sad for the game of football. Keep politics out of football ffs.

I fucking hope they beat the shit out of the denmark players because bendner shows them the middle finger, and ill be advocating for a peaceful draw because it seems equal and both sides were at fault

100k isn't a small fine, at least not for Albanian football.

Also watch this if you're still not convinced:

Somehow a drone (who's author is not known) is worse than that, huh? I'd love to see you play in that pitch while thousands of people want to murder you.

I don't see how the Albanian FA is responsible for the drone's banner that came from outside of the stadium. That's a police issue and it's ridiculous to suggest they would took take part in anything like this in a high risk match with travelling fans banned and risk player's lives. The only thing they deserved is player bans for the fights of the players vs fans. The Serbian FA was responsible for the chants, banners, fights, stewards, and whatever else took place there as organizers. This was probably the worst organized sporting event you will ever witness.

I don't know why people make this a "country" vs. "country" issue, but it is a football federation vs. football federation issue, and whether those federations upheld their professional duties or not.

What kind of childish attitude is this from you?

I talked about this because I think this will result in similar cases in the future because of the lack of a real consequence.

Then suddenly you start picking my home country into this discussion. I don't care about the Danish national team and its qualification for the European Championship. I'm not at all a nationalist in my agenda as what you seem to be. Nationalism is the reason to why we have had all these fucked up situations lately in international football.

However I don't want to take the discusison down to this fucking low piece of shit level with making stupid claims like "It is because you are from a non-third world country, your rich pig bla bla bla bla and Denmark is shit. Fuck Bendtner bla bla bla bla". Again I don't care. This has nothing to do with my nationality like it doesn't have any thing to do with you being Albanian.

I remember when the Serbian players took the flag down from the drone and two Albanians ran towards them like they just had killed their family. Then the fight started. The Albanian players should seriously just let them take the flag down and then play football instead of feeling offended.

It is football ffs.

I know the Serbs sang different things but again I'm not interested in the political part of this. The only reason to why politics is still a part of these international matches is because the focus is that big on it and because people get offended by it. Let the idiots sing shit. They will stop if everybody were annoying it. Instead are some people using football and sport in general as a slave for this shit. I'm tired of it. I'm tired of watching a fucking handball match between Serbia and Croatia with a bunch of loser supporters throwing coins after each other. This is fucking 2015.

My whole agenda here is because I think we now will see more drone shit going on in matches as nobody can proof who it came from. The nationalists will use this and football will be an even bigger slave for these idiots.

Anyway I sure do hope the returning leg won't be played in the same conditions. Wouldn't be surprised if Serbia's anthem gets booed but I hope there won't be any stupid chants or banners. I have high hopes that there won't pitch invader en masse at least.

Also wouldn't be surprised if there is a drone as a retaliation either. I hope there will be police officers in the outter stadium vicinity to avoid such issues.

As I said Albanian FA deserved some player bans, but nothing more as skirmishes happen between players all the time (just watch Barca vs. Madrid). When fans get on the field and start attacking the players that's a whole other story.

I remember Sweden got a win on the table when a Danish fan just slightly touched the ref, let alone when they hit players with chairs.

Yeah Denmark played against Sweden back in 2007. The match score was 3-3 when a Danish player fairly got a red card in the 89 minute of the game for punching a Swede in the stomach. A very drunk supporter then decided to run onto the pitch trying to punch the referee but a Danish defender got in between and the supporter was catched immediately. Sweden was fairly awarded a 3-0 victory just like the one Albania got and Denmark got a fine on 66K €. The next two matches had to be played outside Copenhagen as well.

Denmark had never had any problems with its fans prior to this and we don't have any national tendencies when we play against our neighbors. I completely understand you have had a very complex war "recently" in the Balkan area but I'm afraid this political shit will go on even until the day where all the supporters in the matches never have experienced the real troubles. That is exactly why I think both Serbia and Albania should have a consequence in which no one of the sides felt like they were the winner of this because making a winner out of this drone-saga just means more of this nationalist shit will come.

To be honest Albania is a bit different than the ex-Yugo countries who all hate each other, because we probably hate ourselves more than anything :D But since Kosovo doesn't have a team yet, we sort of incorporate their problems since we're the same ethnicity. In the future it will be Kosovo and Serbia that have that fiery encounter.

Let me clear up this decision for you.

At first UEFA decided to grant Serbia the win because there were reports that the Albanian players refused to resume the match even after the referee said that the security issues were dealt with.

After Albania's appeal and CAS' investigation it was concluded that: Albanian players didn't actually refuse to resume the match. The referee never made a clear order to either get on the pitch or the game will count as forfeited.

Serbia was punished because, and I quote, "The Panel found that the match stoppage and the eventual abandonment of the match were caused by security lapses of the organizers and acts of violence exerted on the Albanian players by the Serbian fans and at least one security steward."

The following decisions remained unchanged from the initial decision by UEFA: Albania's 100k, Serbia's 100k fine, Serbia's 3 point deduction and Serbia's 2 home matches behind closed doors punishment.

I didn't see you complain when UEFA decided, months ago, that Albania is to be ONLY fined for the drone. The CAS decision only makes one thing clear and that is that Albanian players didn't refuse to resume the match. It was the referee's fault for not making it clear.

no ur post is stupid, and it has no base whatsoever, u see urself as a judge in something u apperantly know nothing, just so there is an equal punishment .

i just get angry with nonsense, whatever provocation doesnt justify acting like getting out of a zoo. and beating players like that would get you 2 years bans if it happened with some other country other than albania

Actually disappointed to read this and the rest that followed up from you. I won't comment further because anything I say is meaningless before the video, the events on the pitch, and most importantly, the decision of the court, who doesn't do this very often, especially for a country like Albania that people of all races frown at for whatever reason.

All I've got to personally say on the matter, is simply: justice well done.

I can see Jrgnsn's point though. The Albanian federation should be held for the actions of Albanians towards the game. That's why Inter, for example, is often fined in Europe because we are held accountable for our fans acting like racist dogs. Likewise, flying the Albanian flag was a very provocative and political gesture intended to start a big fight, and it was sadly successful.

In my opinion, both teams should receive a forfeit. I also think Serbia should be disqualified from the qualifiers because of the way the fans reacted, that was absolutely unacceptable. UEFA needs to set a very hardline against all of this. But just because Serbia was a lot more on the wrong end, doesn't mean Albania was on the right end either, a measly 100k fine is not enough.

I agree.

Now you have made Albania the winner of this which means the nationalist flying the drone too. The result is that we will see even more of this nationalist shit propaganda being used in these matches which I personally don't want to. I'm watching football because of the sport and not because of a group of nationalists acting like monkeys. I don't care if it is Serbs, Albanians, Croatians, Englishmen, Russians ect.

- - - Updated - - -

I didn't complain because it was clear for everyone that this decision by UEFA would be sent to CAS as the decision was even more fucked up than what it is now.

The two Albanians who attacked the Serbian players because they took the flag down started the whole thing. There wouldn't have been a fight if they had just let them take the flag down instead of reacting like they were in the middle of recording a new Die Hard movie. This does of course not justify the reaction from the Serbs but the way the two Albanians behaved was just what the Serbs nationalists wanted as it could be used as an 'excuse' for this. This is exactly what I wrote about letting the 'monkeys' sing whatever they want to as they will stop if people didn't get offended by it. Now the Serbian nationalists feel Albania won and will react even worse the next time meanwhile the Albanian nationalist with their drone feel like they can keep on doing this drone-flying shit.

Why can't these nationalist not just meet each other in a forrest somewhere instead of destroying this wonderful game?

- - - Updated - - -

So you are disappointed about me simply because I don't want these nationalists reacting like animals on the stadiums? Because I feel like you have just awarded one of these groups? I don't justify the reaction from the Serbs but I'm afraid I now will see even more of this propaganda going on. I would have said the same if this had happened in an another place as I don't care about which countries we are talking about.

I think the result of this should have been a tie which means both teams got a single point. Serbia should have a bigger fine and have to play their next 5 home matches without attendance and Albanias fine should be kept as it is. Both countries will see this as a sad result because of fan behavior and both will do something about it.

I agree with almost everything. Truly sad, but really I agree that disqualification was the only way to go. As Fapuccino said, it's about FA's not nations and the fact is it happened in Serbia. Had it happened in Albania the same would have been just -- gtfo of the competition. It didn't happen there though, it happened in Serbia but that's another topic.

It's a shame though, because Serbia has more than a solid team. But nothing should trump the fact that Albanian players barely got out of there without serious injuries or worse.
