People are overrating fenerbache. We are better in every position and their striking force is absolutely pathetic.

On paper, that inter team shouldnt have any problems winning in turkey.

And besides that, its not like they have had a very convincing start to their season, 8 points in 5 games and only scored 5 goals total.

A draw is acceptable, but would still be abit disappointing.

I dont know what will make me happier, Jessica Alba or a victory against this club which has tonnes of retarded fans. I just hope their stadium really becomes hell for them.

Good to see that inter.it have started to include translations of our opponents pre-game news conference as well.
Finally I have a feeling Ibra's goal which Zico referred to as one of the best goals in the history of the game is possibly this one. ;)

Suazo will rule in CL.

Few can keep up with his speed, he will create havoc for defenders, expect lots of fouls against him, in other words, the same things he's been doing for years in Italy. Since he won't be in charge of pk's & dead ball situations anymore, expect only a decent, yet acceptable amount of goals off of the run of play.

Nonetheless my prediction: he will continue to silence many doubters that don't believe in him solely because his passport is Honduran and not Brazilian, West African, etc. Honduras has accomplished little internationally. Most notably, the one (and only) decent showing in WC '82, and a solid 2-0 elimination of Brazil in the quarterfinals of 2001 Copa America. That's about it. Therefore, to say that you are from Honduras in elite European football garners you nothing but doubts. Nonetheless, I am not saying that this is unfair, respect is earned. Suazo has been a good start.

I have always been extra critical of Suazo: when he first went to Italy and then came back to play for Honduran nationals, I questioned how he could be playing in Serie A/B in the first place! He was silenced many, most of these Honduran nationals, in the years after his first season.

Aguante David!

LOL, so we doubt him because he is honduran? What a ridiculous statement, his nationality has nothing to do with it.

We doubt him because realisticly he is far from a player who should be anywhere near a starting position at inter. Not good enough, no experience with the level of play at the highest level. Not to mention the pressure of playing for a club like inter.

He should play for a team aiming for uefa cup spots at best.

Decent player, but a team that aims for cl glory needs great players not decent players.

I respect your opinion.

To clarify: I believe that his nationality doesn't help him in the least. That's all. He still needs to prove himself on the field! All I am saying is that there is less room for error for unproven players, from unknown football nations.

Have starters been confirmed anywhere for this game? I ask because Honduras press is annoyingly sensationalist and often unreliable, one source is claiming Suazo will start. Is this confirmed?

Jessica Alba in nothing but an inter jersey and a draw here will be satisfactory.

:p

I doubt it. I haven't checked very recently but it isn't on the Inter site, and usually they get it up when it's announced, so I doubt that is official.

i would say a bit different

--------------------------Julio------------------

---javier-----Rivas------Samuel-----Max---

--------Deki------Cambiasso------Solari----

-------------------Figo------------------------

-------------Crespo----Ibra--------------------

i would play solari,i think we need him in the offence and max should stay more in the defence and try to defend more than to go up front.solari is quick and he can teach the slow turk defenders some lessons :p

LOL, VDV looks so jealous in that clip, that guy doesn't deserve to be a footballer.

So it looks like Samuel and Rivas will start after all, I expect one of them to be sent off, I hope Manicni drills it into their minds not to act careless and get cards, we need them for the next game too.

I was also glad Moratti was hard on Chivu in the interview, it wasn't smart of him to play against Germany, and I badly wanted to see Samuel -- Chivu.

Solari won't play cause Mancio said so himself that we'll need to be compact and not allow them space in midfield which I doubt will happen if solari plays cause he tends to make runs and drift wide which would give Fener and their alex space that's why Deki, chuchu, and Oli will play with Figo above providing the ammunition. :rules: :rules:

I disagree, if Suazo is a Brazilian, and consistently scored 20ish goals with Cagliari, he would have been considered as one of the most potential strikers by now.

Well if he infact scored 20 goals consistently every season he would be a star no matter what his nationality is.

But he hasnt, he scored 22 one season, 14 last season, and considering relying on getting penalties can hardly be considered a consistent way of scoring its pretty safe to say that what you wrote is simply wrong.

His nationality isnt the issue, his ability, and lack of, is.

Suazo still have to prove himself in Inter shirt, I think he will start with Ibra tomorow and crazy Turks will leave some space for him.

If he starts he will score in first 20 minutes.

I prefer optimism: Inter will win CL and Suazo will be leading scorer!!

Hey, it's alot more fun to cheer your team and favorite players on unlike the pessimists (though we appreciate you too)..... :interscarf:

Yeah I hope he starts tomorrow. He really is our best forward after Ibra. No doubt about that.
