Ok then. This is my previous post that explained how my team will play:
Now, Toninu didn't say his tactics, but assuming his players, he will field barca style 4-3-3 or 4-3-1-2.
So, as everyone, he has great team. BUT, lacks defensive play, and looking at my 3-1 in the attack, well...
Dani Alves and Zuniga are both offensive minded players, Dani Alves shit in defense. No balance whatsoever. And I, I have Neymar and Ribery as wingers, both perfect technicians, and Hazard who can also play out wide. Those three will cause chaos on the wings, and Toninu has no defense there. His forward department is also not well known for their defensive play. And i also have Aguero, great off the ball movement, with great creativity behind, and both Pique and Vertoghen have had their fair share of problems against pacey forwards. Also, he has movement in his midfield, but has no player who's proper destroyer. Modric and Hazard will have quite big freedom to roam and create.
Thats about my attack vs. his defense. My defense vs. his attacks. Of course they will cause problems, however, I am much more prepared for counters since both Varane and especially Luiz have decent spead for CBs, Walker is beast in defense and Baines even tho attacking minded, is one of the best cross blocking FBs in the world. It's very hard to cross if he is marking you. Not to mention the world class DM i have and will only defend, his job will be to sit deep and not go forward. If he plays 4-3-1-2, he will have Mata in his pocket, and if he plays 4-3-3, than he will go back to be the third defender, which has played a lot, and stop eventual heading chances from Lewa and CR. CR on the left has Walker whos can be on par with pace and strength. AND there's also Ribery whos became beast in defending, he learnt that under Van Gaal, will continue with me Pirlo's long balls, and Paulinho/CR/Lewa headings are the main thread, but with Martinez going deep and be the third CB, i don't think i will have much problems.
My personal prediction if those two meet, is 4-2 for my team, in worst case for me.
I'm sorry what? You need to get the ball first I've got a very physical midfield and the bad news is that they will press up high and will get possession and can keep possession so it's simple we keep the ball and the other team can't score. And I disagree Lewandowski has a great work ethic and even Ronaldo under Mou has a great work ethic so the formation can easily be a 4-5-1. Lewandowski can keep the ball and wait for the movement of Paulinho off the ball and even Yaya Toure is dangerous entering, tell me how do you expect to defend a cross upon a counter attack with Lewandowski, Paulinho and Toure in the box. But Lewandowski doesn't only have Paulinho and Yaya Toure to find, Ronaldo may cut inside behind your full backs. And did I mention my wing backs? Oh they can cross the ball from deep and they can even keep the ball when we're in posession a tiki taka style.
And we can also drop deeper and in a 4-5-1, and we've got Pirlo with his vision he can give any defense problems and with the pace of Di Maria and Ronaldo he could definitely find them can there will be more problems out wide with the wing backs helping him out. So yeah, 4-2? More like 4-0 for me.
