cause they were chanting for him to die. he could have gone to them and pissed on them for all i care... also, he ain't risking atletico, as he can't get suspended for the Champions league. Most likely he'll get a fine, which is also stupid, as Calabria did the same shit and got nothing... Anyway, he's injured anyway, so who cares.

The suspension (which I don't believe he'll get) wouldn't have anything to do with CL. He's at risk for Atletico due to the injury, not potential suspension.

Why would that suspension carryover to CL? He might miss Atletico due to his strained calf.

My bad, I misunderstood varmin post, thought it has to do with suspension, not injury.

Apparently, the injury is a slight muscle strain. There is a possibility that he will be able to play against Athletico Madrid.

Acerbi's injury hopefully is minor, but it's a wake-up call that Inter should be getting an eventual replacement for De Vrij and himself. Granted the second striker, another midfielder are needed but let's not forget about the defensive center.

I hope that means we are selling Dumfries and investing that money into a CB. I don't mind "selling" Acerbi or De Vrij this summer to make place for a new starting CB.

It is just difficult to find another Acerbi on the market atm. We lost Skriniar, missed out on Bremer. Djalo is not really a direct replacement. Scalvini is 50-60m. Milenkovic? I heard De Ligt is having problem with Tuchel ))

Actually the information that Acerbi will miss Atletico match is from Gazzetta dello Sport, and it's their assumption most probably. But, knowing Inzaghi, i doubt that he will risk not fully recovered player.

I wouldn't be too worried tbh about replacing him. Good defenders are always easier to find as they tend to be good even on older age , especially with 3 man defense.

Moratta is not playing either so we will miss Acerbi less i think

We will surely need to find a replacement for both De Vrij and Acerbi, sooner the better.

Atm I don't see Inzaghi having plans to put Bastoni, Carlos Augusto, Bisseck or Pavard to be the middle CB.

Yeah but i think they ll both still be here next season and getting another cb in the mix this summer would be to early imho... Bisseck for example could still grow into that role
