Just a question came to mind.

Has there ever been a video, compilation, or documentary of Manshitni's "tactical ideas"?

I don't think I have ever came across one.

Yeah but because we will finally have a team that has an identity with mancini it took us almost a full season to have a stable formation and from his antics mancini didnt want to stay from what I hear and know our new coach is a direct person which is sth refreshing. It will be hard for de boer here because he has two weeks until the start of the season and getting to know our players. If he can improve our defence (fix the fullback situation) and movement off the ball and create a cohesive team where every player knows his duty ,we will go to the cl!

Comparing De Boer with other "no name" coaches from Inter like Ranieri or Strama.

I'm sorry but ranieri is the epl champion :troll:

How does everyone feel about potentially bringing a system of possession football to Inter?

Good look at napoli's transformation with sarri or roma's spaletti, provided we buy the right players for de boer's system because I dnt think he can play with medel or melo? what do u think?

You guys know what would be fucked up. Like, completely 'I don't even want to think about it'-fucked up? If De Boer gets here and his first request is for us to sign Yaya Toure.

I have no idea how this will turnout but I like that the guy has a clear football philosophy that has been ingrained in him from a young age and he is not just a hire of the biggest name possible or guarantees success (no one does) or something. We shall see how this adventure turns out I certainly hope it's successful.

The first thing de boer need to learn is how to break the Italian defense system and make sure we can score against low table team.

It would be a dream if he can make Icardi develop into another Van Nistrelrooy.

When we stare at a wall for 18 months until our brain cells start to die out, then anything that suddenly gets into our sight even if it's a stupid little fly will look VERY interesting and exciting to us.

You have a better chance of finding videos or documentaries on flying horses.

Icardi can and will fuck off for good. I believe alot of young players will want to come here knowing his past experience at Ajax, and its past tradition of building solid youth players from ground up. Lots of awesome talent in Holland right now! This is obviously something this club has needed for a long long time, and could it really be upon us? We gotta take it one day at a time, but he just has that aura about it already, and I hope our players turn it around and surprise us immediately. Let's gooooooo Frank!

I wonder his contract would have aome performance related terms, something like his contract would be terminated if we cant reach CL.

Don’t really know about him or his tactical preference. But watched how fluid the ajax players off the ball movement, it should be INTEResting

Unsure. A good possession system beats a poorly coached system like the one we had with Mancini anytime, but if we hold the ball too much and don't create many chances or are not fluid in attack, we might be up for some trouble against Italian defences.

true the biggest question though is who do we need to buy if de boer chooses to play with that system?

Get a good DM and another decent CB and he could definitely get us a top 3 spot.

Still feeling nervous about the likes of Rano, Nagatomo, Melo rotating in the line-up
