Welcome Frank. I really hope you do the following few things:
1. Install a style of way that is unique to Inter. It doesn't have to be free-flowing attacking football, but a definite way of football that players can translate on the pitch.Mancini failed that miserably.
2. An airtight defence, make Murillo world class, and maybe rediscover Rano.
3. Want to reach 3rd on the table, and maybe a Euro Cup semis.

That's all!

FRANK DE BOER CONFIRMED AS NEW HEAD COACH

The Dutchman will be unveiled at a press conference at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti at 14:00 CEST today

MILAN - F.C. Internazionale Milano confirms that Dutchman Frank de Boer will be unveiled as the Club's new Head Coach at a press conference today at 14:00 CEST at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti.

De Boer will join the Nerazzurri on a three-year contract and will take charge of first team training this afternoon.

The Dutchman brings with him a wealth of international experience having played at the highest level for both club and country.

Between 1990 and 2004 De Boer played 112 times and scored 13 goals for the Oranje. At club level for AFC Ajax he lifted five Eredivisie titles, the UEFA Champions League trophy, the UEFA Cup, the UEFA Supercup, and the Intercontinental Cup. He also played for FC Barcelona, Galatasaray S.K. and Rangers F.C. amongst others.

As Head Coach of AFC Ajax De Boer won four consecutive Eredivisie titles between 2011 and 2014.

4. Attract exciting young Dutch talents. Please no more crappy Argies or Asados, like we have not had enough already in the past.

That is a weird reaction to have for an Inter fan... specially when a lot of our legends are Argies who usually over perform at Inter, while the Dutch usually end up failing here...

Finally I can start watching preseason again and sit with excitement before our league matches. What a fuckin relief.

I'm thinking EL minimum place this year and min CL place next year is a realistic goal. Of course this is without any unexpected problems throughout.

Good luck Frank. Not changing half of the starting eleven after won match will already be a huge improvement over this moron we just had.
Yep let's aim for EL and go back to square one.

Welcome Frank. My expectations are simple.

1. Make us play football again.
2. No rotation every single goddamn game bullshit Mancini style. Please no. For fuck's sake, please no.
3. CL spot. If you win us the Scudetto, that's a bonus.
4. Attract exciting young Dutch talents. Please no more crappy Argies or Asados, like we have not had enough already in the past.
Well then Banega and Icardi are gone then. Wtf is wrong with you?

How strange that we sacked Mancini and had a replacement literally within hours. Something funny going on there.

I think FDB was contacted a week or even two ago. Probably as soon as there were first signs of disagreement between Mancini and the management. So the swift appointment of FDB isn't really surprising - since personal terms, wages etc. might have been already agreed upon earlier.

Furthermore, it wouldn't surprise me if de Boer already had a good look at our squad after we first contacted him and has a somewhat good idea what to do with it, who to buy/sell and all.

GdS: Suning would push to insert a termination clause in De Boer's contact. It is for Diego Simeone (booked for next year by Javier Zanetti)

He said first contact was after Spurs match but did not want to negotiate until situation with Mancini was clear.

Where exactly was the season going with Mancini? To square I quit because they don't grant me my every wish? To square I need to be the highest paid coach in the league and have control over every transfer or I quit?

There is no way anyone can say that Inter was definitely gonna improve and reach CL had Mancini stayed. IDK what the heck is gonna happen with De Boer but to act like inter gave up something certain with Mancini is ilogical.

CdS: Bolingbroke, Gardini and #Ausilio speaks to the team that they want maximum from the players for the new head coach #DeBoer.

The #Inter players listened quietly and no one reposnded. In general climate within the squad it was strange!

I wanted to see pictures of Nagatomo, Melo, Dambrosio faces :awyeah:
