10 years of FIFFrisko and to all others, 1 DM is more than enough if his partner is someone like Veron/Emre/Stankovic .... 2DMs' are more than a luxury telling frankly and it was used only coz of our pathetic defence. Mancini has already started playing with 1DM, even in the presence of C.Zanetti; so I do think that it was not his wish to play with 2DMs as well. He was just forced, coz of the defence. 
Anyway, it's FREE AGENTs' thread, so here's the list which seems possible (may be) for us uptil now:

(3) Kuffour <----> Mihajlovic

If we get Kuffor, then we don't need Miha and Matrix. Miha might be happy with a marginal role, but Materazzi may believe he can still be a no.1 defender somewhere.
If we let Davids go, then we don't need anybody. I believe that a midfield arsenal of CZ/Cambiasso/Stan/Kara/Veron or Pizarro, is more than enough.
Why are many people turning on VDM? He is starting to play well, but this injury came at an unfortunate time for him. He was starting to adapt to Serie A, and he had some awesome performances, we don't need Taddei whatsoever.

Did I comment on Kuffour? Gee, I'm so senile I can't even remember.
Anyway... He's OK. Him and Cordoba would at least form a decent partnership. He's better than Materazzi, Gamarra and Mihajlovic. We haven't really seen Burdisso properly yet so we might not even need him at all.

10 years of FIFNow do we REALLY need centreback who is 175cm tall, not fast, whose career have been downhill last few years and who is 5th choice defender in his club?!
Linke, Lucio, Demichelis (when he plays as defender) and Kovac are all in front of him in pecking order. I would'nt take ANY of them in my team.
Damn us if we get him.
