There is only 1 reason why 5 coaches (almost) never played him: training issue.

So you are just making shit up and don't have a source for your claim?

I commented based on the many occasions I have witnessed that players who have training issues end up in his situation. He thinks he is the God. I wonder why no one from Inter talks about him ever since he left to Benfica. He somehow doesn't seem to have good relationship with our players also. All the news around is just about him begging for second chance now.

Remember how he ended in Benfica? He refused some clubs stating he was too good for those clubs. He went there and had a fight. Lol.

Maybe he doesn't follow directions , maybe he is tactically crappy, nothing has to do with training. The coaches said he need to convince them meaning he sucks.

Santos is struggling in the Brasileirão and supporters already forgot the 11 goals scored by Gabriel Barbosa in 2018.

They even "want him out". He's clearly the easiest scapegoat.

Hopefully Gabi will understand that his real home is not Vila Belmiro, but San Siro, where Inter fans always cheered for him.
Come back, Gabi (?)

Will be like a typical Xmas present from your grandparents. It has an awkward color, is way too big in the size and is at the end of the day completely broken without any chance of repair.

Has anybody watched him in Santos? Seems like he's been scoring a bit with some assists.

Frank de Boer attacks: "Gabriel Barbosa thought he was a superstar, only walking instead of running"

In an interview with ESPN, former Inter coach, Frank de Boer, lashes out against Gabriel Barbosa.

“He thought he was still in Brazil. He was walking instead of running, he wanted to get the ball but without going after it. He did not understand that he had to train hard. He must look in the mirror and has to try every day from now on to be the best version of himself, not having that superstar attitude. He has only won one Olympics and nothing else. He has to prove to himself, his teammates and the coach that he is a good player. Big European country is not the Brazilian league. I do hope that he soon realize this because otherwise, it will be a shame for Brazilian football.”

Can't solely blame Barbosa for that. He was given a superstar welcome to the club. He's light years away from being one. Doubt that he'll ever achieve anything near a superstar player.

Yeah, Inter was a total shit show in that summer also. No proper preseason with Mancini other foot out of the club for the whole summer and then resigning eventually.

But, that surely was a rude awakening for Gabriel. To see that actually you are nothing yet. Wonder when was the point he realized it.

Still only 21 years of age. If he returns in December a little bit humble by being loaned out and is willing to work hard, maybe Spalletti will be able to help and guide him. At least then he can add depth in the forward line which we have been sorely lacking for years.

To be fair, De Boer also said that "he has a great left foot" and "no physical issues at all", so it would be a pity if he doesn't get his career on track... and so on.

Yes, he omitted to mention his Football IQ and much more, but hey, the point still stands. At least diplomatically.

He's back in action and on his road to redemption next week (derby against Palmeiras)
