I think the team with less goals conceded has the advantage? And then at some point the team with less bookings has advantage too.

Panama celebrating that goal like they just cured cancer

After watching this game and the Tunisia one. Think about 2026. 16 more teams that don’t deserve to be in.

You are going to have the top scorer with 20 goals that World Cup

Kane is secretly Icardi'ing this World Cup.

If he's the real deal, he'll have to show it in the quarterfinals first.

No. 10-1 is the highest ever. At least according to the commentator on my broadcast.

You know what the World Cup needs? Another 6 countries from CONCACAF in it.

Maybe we should copy this amazing tactic:

D'Ambrosio - Skriniar - Miranda
Vecino
Vrsaljko - Asamoah - Nainggolan - Martinez
Perisic - Icardi

:einstein:

low key looks like something mazzari would field

God I shudder to think what that would look like. All the additional spots should got South America and Europe to be honest. Once you start getting into the island nations things get pretty bad pretty fast.

Ronaldo getting a taste of his own medicine by being rivalled by a stat padder. He has to score hat tricks against Spain, while Kane scores against Panama whose entire roster has a market value of 7 million.

Spalletti actually invented that tactic when we play againts atalanta, the difference is he only able field Santon and Dambrosio on same side lol

I wouldn't mind a few more African countries in the mould of Ghana and Ivory Coast (back when they had their golden generation, so to speak - although they never did much). At least they come to play football typically while most of the CONCACAF ones I can see just going to defend with 10 men (Panama, Canada, etc.)

- - - Updated - - -

So if Brazil finishes 1st in their group and Germany 2nd in theirs, whoever finishes 2nd in this group will avoid both - and face (most likely) Mexico/Switzerland.

Belgium/England currently have the same number of points, goals scored, and goals scored against. I look forward to their game where each team tries to pick up as many yellows to finish second and avoid Brazil/Germany. Hopefully another Netherlands/Portugal lol.

OK so England only need a draw v Belgium to win the group, if they keep this up. But what if they get scored against now and end up with goal difference +6, like Belgium, and then draw against Belgium? When g/d is the same and the result between the two is also the same, what's gonna determine who wins the group then? Will they just immediately move on to PK's? Anyone know this?

It will be decided on fair play, so who has lesser cards.

Conte played almost whole season with that 3-4-3/3-4-2-1 tactic last season with Hazard and Pedro playing behind or next to Costa.
