1. I hate Vecino
2. I couldn't give a shit about Calhanoglu's body language and it has zero influence on my thoughts on the matter
3. Yes, I would prefer to start Vecino over Calhanoglu
If we've seen one thing from Inzaghi's Inter, it's that we love to fucking attack. Look back at the goals we've scored, there's always a minimum of 5 of our players in the opponent box. That's a space where Vecino is actually redeemable. He also tends to be super direct with his passing.
Another thing about Vecino is that he doesn't seem to be bothered by the occasion. That is to say, if he has a shit game, it's because he's a rather shit player - not because he's mentally fragile or nervous. That
is however, an issue with Calhanoglu, who is a notorious mental midget.
As far as defense goes, Vecino is practically non-existent. But I don't think Calhanoglu is much better beyond some token hassling and closing down.
Ironically, Eriksen of all players was the most balanced option we had in this position. Conte had him playing so deep and holding his position, I remember just laughing seeing Eriksen in our penalty box defending headers and making clearances. Gotta respect the guy, even though it was visibly unnatural for him, he still did a surprisingly solid job of it
