Gagliardini in the CL final
Just in time to man mark KdB. It’s just gonna be super awkward for everyone when he glides past Gags with ease for the 7th time in a row.

“In the event of a serious injury, he could miss the CL final”

Useless tweet. Basically saying “He hasn’t undergone a medical, but a serious injury will be serious”
Last time he had a similar muscle problem, he missed 2 weeks at the beginning of the season. I think he maybe ready for Atalanta game on the 28th or the last game against Torino.

Inter Milan have confirmed that midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan has suffered a thigh injury.
The club announced on their official site that the 34-year-old underwent medical tests this morning which showed that he had picked up a strain to the rectus femoris muscle in his left thigh during Tuesday’s Champions League match against AC Milan.
If there was one sour note to Tuesday’s derby win over AC Milan for Inter, it was Mkhitaryan being forced off with an injury.
The 34-year-old pulled up with a problem in his thigh towards the end of the first half. The midfielder did try to play on for a moment. However, he quickly signalled to the bench that he did not feel alright to continued.
Marcelo Brozovic replaced the Armenian former Manchester United, Arsenal, and Roma midfielder.

Inter Milan Confirm Henrikh Mkhitaryan Injury

Mkhitaryan underwent tests with Inter’s medical staff today. The tests showed a quadriceps strain, to the rectus femoris muscle in his left thigh.
Now, there is a big question of when the Armenian former Arsenal and Roma man can return. There are only a few matches left in the season, five in total. However, it will be a decisive, season-defining stretch for the Nerazzurri.
First, there is Serie A. Inter have three more matches to go, against Napoli, Atalanta, and Torino.
Inter need at least four points from these three matches to maintain a crucial top four spot.
Then, there is the Coppa Italia final against Fiorentina one week from today.
Inter will have their first of two more chances to compete for silverware against La Viola. They will be keen to defend their crown from last season.
Lastly, there is the massive matter of the Champions League final against Manchester City in Istanbul next month. Inter will certainly want Mkhitaryan back for that match.

I'm feeling more like Torino game on June 4th.He picked up the injury on the 16th. so that gives him 20 days rest and recovery.

Rafaela Pimenta [his agent] told Calciomercato on Monday: “The Champions League final? I’ve heard from Henrikh over the last few days, I think he’ll be able to recover and be on the pitch.

He fits in very well with the Nerazzurri, he likes Milan and life in Italy. I hope to find an agreement for his renewal. He is playing very well and this means that he is doing great at Inter.”

PS: Contract currently expires on Jun 30, 2024.

We should definitely keep him at least one more year. Then hopefully he is replaced gradually by someone like Fratessi

I think the option was to complete at least 50 percent games this season, which he did plenty.

Good for him, good for us. I don't want to see Gags anywhere near the pitch

Barella
We'll need him as a starter or as a sub, without him we have zero options during the game. He has to make it.

Not the best idea to start him right away in a final, especially how Brozo has been playing lately but indeed it's decisive to have him in the bench at least.
