The worst Serie A was when we had banted era 8 years with Milan. Rube had referees, the most exensive squad + Marotta.

Serie A can´t be awesome if Inter and Milan are fighting for 5-6 spot.

For reference, +54 was our goal difference for the entire season in our Scudetto win under Conte. If we kept our pace up, we'd finish the season with a +79 goal difference.

We scored again as I was writing this post, so just to update the numbers, +55 now exceeds the 2020-'21 team's total, and our pace is now up to +80. A quick Google search tells me La Grande Torino from 1947-'48 has the Serie A record for a season with a +92 goal difference in what was a 40-game season. So that's probably beyond our reach but it was a very different game back then so comparisons are just about useless.
