In spite of my "battles" against the Kovacic fanboys, I do agree that he deserves a chance to start, at this point. Guarin has looked tired & uninspired lately, and that back-pass vs Livorno alone was prob worthy of a benching. (But good that Mazzarri made a point to defend him at practice this week)

As many noted after the Verona match, Hernanes and Kovacic in MF has given us some of our most effective (and entertaining) direct play this season.

In the interview on the official Inter site Mazzari says that Kovacic maybe will play from the start, still undecided.

Have you even watched Milito this season? He has been a shadow of himself for a while now. Missing tons of chances, not showing hunger to play either. Icardi on the other hand looks much more hungry, way better finishing & he's even done more other than scoring. No competition sadly, Milito is done.
