No Zhirkov and Deco, but Alex and Belletti are back.

Also long-term injuries A.Cole, Essien and Bosingwa are out. Paolo Ferreira is not listed either because he's not part of the CL squad. That means Ancelotti may have to use Belletti right from the start, despite the Brazilian coming back from knee-injury.

Injuries are clearly in Inter's favour at this point. Hopefully they will affect Chelsea's performance.

Whats with the negativity man, think positive and positive things will happen. I fear that we might lose aswell, but I will be cheering as loud as I can tomorrow night. I'm pretty sure the players will be going into this positively so us fans should aswell.

Recalcati suggests Mourinho could use 4-2-3-1 since Zanetti has to play LB. I would say Inter will not survive with 4-2-3-1 with Cambiass in the midfield. Or then Stankovic-Cambiasso will need a real support from Eto'o-Sneijder-Pandev.

These 3 are really disciplined with high humility. i think it can work. Etoo and Pandev can close the wings.
i would rather see this line-up, than the usual CL-sucker 4312 with Motta or Muntari in it.

and if we considers that Ancelotti have problems with wingbacks, than this 4231 is a must.

Regarding Belletti, he didn't train yesterday so even he isn't guaranteed to start. If he's not fit then Ancelotti might be forced to play Malouda at LB.

Problem is I haven't yet seen Pandev closing down anything, and he has played couple of times on the wing and as AM. He's also pretty slow. Surely he's pumped up for this match and Eto'o gives the needed cover from the wing but I'm still very sceptic over 4-2-3-1 with Cambiasso starting. Hopefully I'm dearly wrong if that's what Mourinho decides to go with.

I'm more optimistic than never in my life for an Inter match... I'm convinced we can beat Chelsea in Italy. If we beat them in Italy, we will go further, cause in England we will park the bus in our goal .

BRAZILIANS BACK

Alex and Juliano Belletti will this morning (Tuesday) fly to Italy for Wednesday's Champions League first knockout round first leg. Yury Zhirkov is not part of the squad.

Alex has been passed fit following the knee injury that prevented his involvement at Wolves at the weekend and Belletti is back after a month out with a knee injury suffered during the game at Preston.

Zhirkov has failed to recover in time from the calf problem that saw him withdrawn during Saturday's game so joins long-term injured Jose Bosingwa, Michael Essien and Ashley Cole in not making the trip.

With Paulo Ferreira not registered in the Champions League squad, Carlo Ancelotti will have to weigh up his options to fill the left-back slot.

Frank Lampard has recovered from the virus that kept him out the last game and travels but Deco remains unavailable.
