I think one of the reasons the boys seem so united is that they know they’ll all have chances to play this season. Whoever comes in tries to give his best. Sounds clicheic but it’s the system not necessarily the personnel that is more important (obviously, some players are more talented than others).

Also, all this talk about some ties might be acceptable, I don’t think either the coaching staff or the players are thinking that way. I don’t think (at least hope not) anyone steps on the pitch thinking that they’ll b ok with a tie, no matter who’s the opposition.
