Alvarez played as an attacking midfielder in Velez and he has been doing that same here. Sure, at times he has played on either wing but it has always been an attacking and free role.

Kovacic has been in a much deeper and defensive role, and this is a bigger change. Let's hope he finds his way.

looked again where Alvarez has played under Ranieri and Stramaccioni. I'm sure Kovacic has played in certain role as well in Dinamo. But the thing with Kovacic is that he has played alone, he seems detached from the team. He doesn't move as the team move in the game and that happens regardless his position. Having said that, he also has had some good games and even today he showed his talents, but how to utilize it really depends on him learning and getting himself into the game.

We have serious defensive problems, almost a disaster, when almost every attack attempt from the right side penetrates Naga and makes a cross, this is a big problem, and Rannoachia isnt able to contain Toni AT ALL! I mean 90% of the time Toni escapes Ranno and creates dangerous chances, wtf is wrong with Rannochia?

The two weak links in our defense aka Naga and Ranno should be fixed soon if we want to qualify for the CL next year. it`s not every match that we`ll be able to score 3 or 4 goals not to draw or even lose after conceding 2 goals or more every God damn match because of the same problems. I dont care if that`s cause Campa is injured, FIX THE DEFENSE PROBLEMS MAZZARRI!!

I just saw the scene where Belfodil got sent off. I didn't see any contact between him and the Verona guy. Maybe they said some stuff to each other but why the fuck does the ref care? It's not like they are hitting each other and the match was over.

Not bad game. Efficiency in corners, nuff said. Much troll goals. And the defense was sloppy though. Rano had troubles with Toni.

Verona was very bad though, their defending was even more awfull then ours. Wondering when Mazzarri will ever start with 2 strikers in the formation. Kova was bad, sadly. But he'll need to adapt into the formation. Anyway seems like we've scored 23 times in 9 matches. More then any other Italian squad

Kovacic :Invisible, lazy, not chasing balls. Sloppy game by Kova
Nagatomo :One of the best games by him. Offensive super, Defensive great. Chased much balls, gave a lot of crosses, hitted the post,.. Great game.
Alvarez :Nice game. Didn't contribute much, but didn't do much wrong. So nice game.
Palacio :Chased many lost balls, scored. Did his work

Kuzmanovic :Unnecessairy sub to me. Didn't do much in the time he had, partially losing ballpossesion.
Belfodil :Also didn't do much. Had 2 nice actions. Still needs a striker along him on the pitch.
Taider :Too less time to impact.

Mazzarri :Lucky goals on corners saved us today. Gameplay was bit better then last few weeks. Yet again scored much goals today. Shouldn't drop faith in Kova though. And it's really time to play with 2 strikers.

I can see Belfodil's frustration at everything. He likes to have long through balls played to him. The only time that he got a decent ball was when Taider passed it to him and he could make his run. If I were Belfo, I would have gone to MAzzari and say, Either start me in matches like this, Tell Guarin to actually pass the fuking ball instead of taking idiotic, selfish shots all game wonce we are winning, or I am leaving come winter. He was Parma's star, and now can't even get the respect of his team to actually give him a god damn pass. No wonder he is so pissed at everything that he yells at the dude who barreled him over. It was his only play all game.

Sky showed a panoramic replay of the final whistle from the stands right after the final whistle, but the video quality from the stream made it difficult for me to see what was going on with the two at that moment before they were sent off.
