That was very difficult game, where our lads looked out of a steam in the second half. That assist from Arni and the goal from Barella were super important in order to demotivate Lecce. We were lucky that Banda was imbecile as well. Difficult game.

Only 7 goals conceded out of 17 matches is insane. Also 41 goals scored. We have amazing stats though.

Also credit to Bisseck and Carlos Augusto for stepping up when it matters the most. Great players. I'd say Asllani is doing somewhat good enough as a backup. Need Frattesi and Arnautovic to step up their game aswell.

20 shots, 8 on target, 69% possession, 90% pass accuracy and 16 frigging corners. Good win against a squad that is only missing a couple of pieces. Clean sheet, Bisseck was excellent and the much maligned Arnautovic did well. Merry Christmas everybody!

I know it’s not sexy to say this on FIF, but a lot of credit goes to Inzaghi for this - everyone feels they belong and can contribute. Can’t create that without a top leader. He’s done several gutsy things that I don’t think many other coaches would’ve done - for instance keep playing the 2nd team in the 2nd half of Benfica game, continuing to give playtime to Bisseck and Asllani despite their underwhelming early season, etc.

That's why I wouldn't mind someone liKe Martial to come along. Otherwise i wouldn't want any part of that kind of player who could be calagoued as lazy or unmotivated
