He did by subbing in our biggest threat on the counter, but it didn't pan out... Wow was this so hard to see that we tried to go 3-4-3 with Sensi and Hakimi besides Rom so we can try counter attack, and kill it off?
The negativity here is insane...

A small correction: Insigne didn't say vaffanculo like I stated earlier, he said Vai a cagare ("go take a shit").

I don't understand why Conte wanted to played 5 defenders after the red card. This was a Spalletti perfomance today from him, incredibile. Thanks god Handa saved us.

Anyway we don't deserved this victory but at the same time we never really were lucky this season. Only think about how many times the ref/var made mistakes against us. How many penaltys Milan and Juve got this season. Was this even a penalty for Rube today? imagine this was Lautaro and not Chiesa that cunt. Probably red card for Lautaro

Even with Mourinho we were confident of winning the ball and launching a deadly counter, this current team excels at nothing.

Okay... 2nd at league and most goals scored and one lost game at Serie A... but hey they dont excel nothing :notbad:

Am I the only one who feels that more and more players are silently going against Conte?

I don't know how we managed to get this win, pure luck and brilliant Handanovič. Conte is certainly not the one who made job easy for our players. Realisticly Napoli deserved a win, but I won't argue with a win and -1 to milan.

Bad performance by us today, I'd gladly though take the 3 points.

JuBe had their own fair share of luck/troll wins with bad performances when they won their Scudetti, so I guess it's okay to suffer for one game, hopefully not more.

Our game was dead when Brozo went out, say what you want about him but without him our midfield doesnt exist.

Napoli coach Gennaro Gattuso insists Lorenzo Insigne should not have been sent off against Inter. ‘In England and Scotland, they tell referees to **** off all the time.’

The captain saw red for insulting the official after a penalty was awarded, which Romelu Lukaku converted for the 1-0 victory.

“This only happens in Italy,” Gattuso told Sky Sport Italia in clearly irritable mood.

“I told the referee Massa that two minutes before the red card he complimented Insigne on how he was behaving as captain, then two minutes later sent him off.

“You can’t send off a player, especially the captain, for telling the referee to **** off after a dubious penalty.

“In England and Scotland, they tell referees to **** off all the time and nothing happens, only in Italy do players get sent off for this sort of thing.

“When I was a player, it was a sport, the referee should show some common sense and understand that after a dubious penalty, a player can say **** off and the official should pretend not to hear it. You can’t leave a team down to 10 men for that.

“He wasn’t even saying it to his face in an aggressive fashion.”

Are these people who scrutinize Conte for parking the bus, the same people who want mourinho, the most famous bus driver in europe, back as inter's coach? So funny

It was an ugly win. Yea sure, as if Juve have been winning the past 9 Scudetti in style...

That’s just football, sometimes you have to do ugly things in order to win. How many times have you guys complained when we were a goal behind at the end of a match and suddenly we start attacking with the whole team and at the end don’t score a goal? It’s just how it is. Every team in Serie A does it. It was towards the end of the match, the players were tired, tension was high and we decided not to risk the three points, sit back deep and try to take advantage of the counter attack situations. It’s just nornal Serie A, has nothing to do with Inter or Conte being pussies.

I’d prefer an ugly win over an entertaining draw or loss.

You guys just have to find something to bitch about. I don’t think it’s entirely you but certain individuals on forum who take every freaking chance to hate on Inter have finally got to you.

For once try and focus on the positives. We won against a tough opponent, sitting 2 points from the leaders, finally stabilized the defense and stopped leaking goals like earlier and we are the second team with goals scored in Europe just after Bayern.

We are the second attacking team in Europe and some of you guys still bitch we have a loser mentality. I’d imagine even if we were the best attacking team you’d still say the same shit. You need your brains checked but again not your fault, probably certain idiotic comments has got to you.

Just chill the fuck out.

We are the 2nd best attacking team in Europe after Bayern? That's cool but mate I'd rather be less successful attacking and still be in Europe

A small correction: Insigne didn't say vaffanculo like I stated earlier, he said Vai a cagare ("go take a shit").

The most important news.

Watched the game this morning and am stoked over the win. Beating Napoli (our direct rival for top 4) is big in our quest to win the season.

But at a time just after the goal scored and Napoli down to 10 men, my only comment would be to Conte asking why did he shut up shop and try and protect the lead. The second goal was there for the taking. I reckon 5 min more and we would have scored. I would have waited just that little bit longer and then make the subs he did.

It made for a nervous finish when we could have suffered less. Just my opinion.

People can whine and moan all they want but one thing is for sure I would rather win the game like that than win via forfeit unlike a certain piece of shit club who was too scared to even step on the pitch cos they knew they would have dropped points.

This Napoli side thrashed Roma and Atalanta. They also made a certain group of scums act like fucking cowards in order to gain cheap pathetic 3 points. In hindsight, this is not too bad.

But it was an ugly win regardless.

Totally agree, why wasn't we going for the kill? and secured a 3-0 win. That is how you remove/negate luck from the game, in my book.

Some fans are so used to this 'win is a win' attitude that they criticize those who don't follow. I wonder if they were gonna show up if one of the Napoli's chances went in. I don't know if they even watch the matches, or just see the result and make conclusions.

It's not like that we want flowing dominating football each match, but not play like this against a 10 men team either. But this 'win is a win' has been the fans and the club's motto for so many years that it's become a part of the culture.
