Did you get a selfie with Candreva as well?! :troll:

...........

:eek:kay:

i missed one with JZ4 as well, he went into the inter fans before the game and took loads of pictures and I had went to the other side at this stage.....Extremely fair play to inter. A game in Ireland is almost a home game to Celtic and they didnt engage with the fans at all! where as loads of inter players were signing autographs, taking pictures, interacting with the crowd. was really good. Felipe Melo stood over the bench at the end of the game and took loads of pictures, was really good to see. Where as Celtic done nothing.

Interesting also, at the end of the match Jovetic stormed off the pitch...

I was at the game yesterday, and noticed a couple of things.

First half we were 4-3-3 and we played pretty well. K-dog was a beast. Ruled the first half. Icardi was laughable, tripped over the ball twice in about his 3 first half touches. Eders touch for a pro footballer is embaressing. I was sitting right beside the Inter bench, and FDB shouted at Icardi a lot in the first half and Icardi shouted back at one stage. Then he told JoJo to warm up straight after.

Second half we were shitty. We looked tired. Celtic were a lot sharper and fitter, they played there first competitive game a month ago now. Kdog declined in a more defensive 4-4-2 with him and Banega. Banega was very poor all round. He looks like he has no fitness. Rano was shakey. D'Ambro was extremely sound defensively. Erkin was a disgrace. Looked very out of place.

I can go into more depth if we want, but it was strange. We constantly had a switch on to d'ambro - eder would run in field and leave space for him but we never played the switch.

End of the day, we beat half a celtic team and not that comfortably. A win is good but we should have been dominating much much more. Also, a surprisingly large amount of inter fans were there!

Oh - I got a picture with Bolingbroke :awyeah:
Hi could you get into a bit more detail about how erkin and rano played

There were a few times rano was very shakey. He got a yellow card after about 10 minutes because he was completely found out for pace. He was bullied a bit as well by first Ceftci i think it was then the next striker that came on. And he almost gave away a penalty with two stupid tackles in the box one after another. He didn't have much else to do but he seemed to be playing right centre back and Celtic had some joy using the space between him and D'ambro.

Erkin, he just didnt look like a footballer. Lol he only had 10-15 minutes so he didnt have much time to do much but me amd my bro were laughing pretty much any time he got the ball. Didnt look composed on the ball or really know where he was meant to be. Had to be continously told by FDBs coaches. This could improve with more time in fairness. And he got a yellow card for a really poor and lazy tackle.

I would say Banega disappointed me most yesterday. He seemed to be complaining to team mates a lot, not tracking and gave away a lot of silly passes. Also didnt try many long balls. Perisic started well and looked to completely tire after about 30 minutes.

So youre saying Icardi didnt disapointed you? I only quote a german reporter: "For the people who are wondering: yes, icardi is still playing"

Thats very interesting observation about Banega. Almost all of us "experts" ;) here thought he played very very good. I even read some reviews online from Italian newspapers, and they also said he played well. Very interesting that live you saw it differently.

ElDuc didnt mention him there. Think in one of my earlier posts i said we should take the money and run! He was very poor!!

Maybe my expectations were very high josi, but he made a lot of simple mistakes and didn't work very hard! Handanovics great save in the first half came from Banega not tracking his man, he just ran off his shoulder. And he lost the ball a couple of times very sloppily and midplaced some short passes. He got worse too after the break. He started quite bright, nearly scored after about 5 minutes only for a great save (Celtic keeper got MOTM).

I'm most interested in the exchange between De Boer and Icardi. I saw the moment when De Boer told Jovetic to warm up but I couldn't see Icardi yell back at him. I wonder what De Boer truly thinks of Icardi and now what the club is asking him to say.

I'm also little confused with this FdB and Icardi shouting back. So when Icardi shouted back, de Boer then told Jovetic to warm up? But as far as recall, jovetic came in for Eder, not Icardi. So, the order for Jovetic to warm up, was directly related to Icardi shouting back to de Boer or what?

Jovetic came on for Medel and we went 4-4-2. Still though he didn't make the like for like substitution.

FDB was shouting at Icardi about his pressing quite a lot. He had shoutes two or three times, then icradi shouted back at some stage with his arms out. About two minutes after this he told JoJo to go warm up. Would have been around 35 minute mark. Maybe he wasnt happy with the space celtic were getting there so he puy on JoJo to have two men pressing up top. I just thought it was interesting. Couldnt understand the language obviously.

After watching the match again, that's true. It actually happened at 35'. Icardi was lazy to close down Celtic player and just wandering around with small steps rather than charging opponents. FdB had shouted at him earlier which Icardi obviously ignored. FdB then shouted at him again at minute 35. Icardi stopped pressing, let the Celtic player continued on and shouted back at FdB while shrugging his shoulders.

Icardi is so used at being spoon fed and demanding his team mates to play for him while him wandering around lazily, it's no surprise he seems to be struggling in a system that requires a striker to be constantly active and participating. Can't totally blame him for that when that's what he's been doing under the world class coaching of Mazzarri and Mancini.

Still too early to write him off of course, but I wouldn't be surprised if De Boer sends his ass packing somewhere else someday, or could even possibly happen this transfer window.

You think Mancini didn't ask Icardi to press? There is a difference between instructing a player, and a player following instructions!

One time, coaching a cupsemi-final, I told my team, but GK in particular "We have to watch out for through balls down the middle. It is their most dangerous weapon. BUT if our GK is on his front foot, we should be fine"

How do you think the opposition scored (the opening goal of the game, which ended up going to extra-time, where we lost)? Through ball down the middle, GK starts coming for it, then pauses, hesitates, then goes. Striker round the keeper!
