5-2 i think. Our attacking midfield will humiliate them.

I don't know what Strama is planning to do in the future but my sort of "dream" formation I'd like to see is:

Guarin - Gargano
Palacio - Sneijder - Cassano
Milito

I also think 3-1: Milito twice, Palacio and Osvaldo. I also want to say that I have 2 friends who are milanisti's and it's so funny to make jokes of Bilan hahah.

I see 4-2-3-1 being posted often, it does not work for us. :palm: We don't have the players for it, we have tried it and failed. 4-3-2-1 obviously works very well.

What are you talking about. We very much have the players for a 4-2-3-1 now.

Zeman is a lunatic. He has no idea what to do in the defensive phase of the game, that is why I said in my first post, if we can close up the defense and midfield from the Pescara game they(Roma) have no chance. We know Roma can score, we know they cannot stop us from scoring. Its just how well we deal with what ever thrust they choose to bring.

You have no idea what you are talking about. We can play that formation easily with the players we acquired. The correct question is, would that formation be good for an offensive Roma side?

I wish Cassano will have our revenge. though I remain undecided about the game. Roma in the Meazza is unpredictable. actually so do we. :yao:

I think Roma would score at least twice.

When did we last try 4-2-3-1? It was last season. Lot of new players have arrived since then.

Tho, I have a crazy idea... push Sneijder slightly deeper, put in Coutinho/Palacio, play a sort of a diamond ahead of two midfielders.

Against Pescara we didn't get Sneijder on the ball enough and we must do it! Not sure if the 3 man midfield like last night, is good for getting him the ball fast enough. Sneijder speeds up our game, if we only get the ball to him in opposition third, then his effectiveness decreases.

1st real test of the season comes early, both a good and bad thing, as it tests us early on to see how we play against bigger opponents, but at the same time our team might not be fully fit or know each other well enough on the pitch yet. Either way I'm super excited about this match and expect a 3-2 win for Inter, goals from Palacio, Milito, and Wesley.

Yeah that's what we want against Roma a 4-2-3-1 when we only have one player who can play wide and we lose the balance we've gained in the past 3 games against a side who has great goal scoring potential. If we keep our balance and get quick counters we can destroy their defence Catania ripped theird defense apart regardless of the offside position in both goals.

The 4321 we're playing is more like a 433. Sneijder doesn't defend. The 3 midfielders behind him (Guarin, Cambiasso, Gargano) are essential. If we play this retarded 4231 with Sneijder as AMF, 2 'wingers' and a striker, that means we have just 2 midfielders in the defensive phase. (which would be fucking disastrous)

The way we played against Pescara was great, and I think we can practically do the same against anyone in the league. Serie A is not that strong tbh (sadly). I would be very worried if Strama tried to play the same attack-minded, possession-driven style against the Barcelona's, Real Madrid's and Man Utd's out there. That being said, being in the EL this season, we don't need to worry about that too much. :yao: (Bar some shock elimations in the CL group stages and assuming we make it to the group/knockout stages of the EL :)yao:))
