Roma is beatable but they're an improved squad under Fonseca. It won't be easy with Grampa Valero and that useless nugget Vecino running around aimlessly. Get the ball to LM and Rom and they can win it for us though. Probably the best we can hope for all things considered.

Honestly, with De Vrij back there and Brozo as our pseudo-DLP our best chance might be to bypass the midfield entirely and play off of Lukaku and Lautaro battling their CBs, both here and against Barca.

I have more faith in Vecino getting in with his weirdly good sense of attacking timing after a Lukaku lay off than trying to construct a cultured manoeuvre between Vecino, Borja, Candreva and Biraghi.

Roma left side is weak defensively so i would prefer Lazaro on the right over Candreva in order to exploit it. I would also consider playing Asamoah in midfield but i can understand if Conte thinks it's too risky experimenting in this game.
