Am I the only one who doesn't understand this "Biscotto" discussion for the Real-Gladbach game?

Are Real really going to assume that we'll win the game after seeing our underwhelming form in the Champions League first hand? Shakhtar goes through if both games end in a draw if I'm not mistaken.

A draw wouldn't shock me in either game, but it's not like Real are going to settle for a draw when they know it may not be enough.

Gladbach and Real Madrid will not be satisfied with a draw in their game no matter what. They don't owe each other nothing. There are no excuses but a clear cut win here. If the others draw, that's another story. Pretending that they'll be alarmed if Inter is winning does not exist.

Barella and Vidal being out is very concerning. We were also just picking up steam again having switched back to 3-5-2, so going back to 3-4-1-2 with a (seemingly) jaded Eriksen is just a horribly ironic ending to our group stage.

That would be funny after the 92nd sub. However Conte will sooner start Hakimi in midfield D’Ambrosio in RWB before even thinking of Eriksen.

When I said Eriksen treatment is not only harmful to him, but also to us, is exactly what happened now. Conte forces to Vidal and Barella as many minutes as possible to minimize Eriksen’s minutes as much as possible. There’s no reason to sub Barella on when we were leading quite comfortably against Bologna. At Sassuolo we were 3 goals up by 60th minute, Vidal went on to play the whole 90 minutes (yes he was unavailable against Borussia, but still) and Barella subbed off at 85. Stupid decision by Conte and then he goes on to blame crowded schedules and tiny squad.

Match preview for Shakhtar. I am pessimistic if i am being honest. This has disaster written all over it, regardless of our result.
