Lukaku headed the ball back to Sanchez so it was his assist too.
He tried to head towards the goal but he missed the ball, which hit the back of his head and ended up at Sanchez's feet... Amazing assist, I must admit. Caught the defense off guard who expected a smooth finish on the line after the failed easy one on one.

Dude, you got triggered hard just because somebody had a different opinion than you?
People had every right to think that Lukaku was MOTM. He scored a brace and assisted one (I don't count Sanchez's goal as Lukaku's assist). I personally think Lukaku wasn't MOTM too. Sanchez was MOTM for me.
Oh, right. It's Lukaku. I understand that you hate him with a passion and counting days for him to be gone from this club. Every bit of positive thing he does for the club must be traumatizing for you. You could get an orgasm by Icardi providing a hockey assist playing for PSG, but get pissed off by Lukaku scoring 2 goals and providing a decent assist for the team that you are supposedly supporting?
You talk about people here practicing favoritism when it's you who have been doing it all along. If it's Lukaku, have Pinamonti and we would have the same results. But if it's that PSG Argentinian dude, it's world class positioning, unparalleled composure in taking PKs, hawk eye assist, and whatnot.
On the contrary, I frequently post this way about Lukaku because his fanboys are too blinded by him.
There is no other player who constantly underperforms and just gets lucky with a goal here and there that gets so many biased views saying "he carries us", "he was the best", "we'd be screwed without him" and nonsense like that when it is clear that it is not the case.
I'd be as agitated if people constantly said Ashley Young or D'Ambrosio was this legendary person in the eyes of posters.
I mean Oleguer at Barcelona is the closest example I remember, but at least he was a youth product and looked silly so it was half joking by the Barcelona fanbase.
Stop acting as if I want the guy out or don't rate him at all. I've been rating him long before you even saw him play. But this is fucking ridiculous.
There's three groups of people and my stance on the Management on the whole 2018-19 ending had created this hatred towards whatever I say about players, but who gives a shit.
1) People who loved how Marotta dealt with Icardi. It's true. People pretend they are vindicated by replacing Lukaku with Icardi as if nothing else had changed on the team. They express unreasonable feelings toward Lukaku just befaus Icardi isn't here anymore and pretend that Lukaku is the knight in armor that enabled that.
2) Contephiles. People who don't want to admit that Conte is a turd and since Lukaku was his priority, everytime he touches the ball it's a miracle waiting to happen, that Conte enabled.
3) Random Lukaku fans. These I honestly get. There's nothing wrong with this. But at least these guys don't pretend and they're not the vocal minority that always say that he's the best, he's carrying us, we can't score without him, we cannot win without him and other invalid nonsense that the other two group of people say.
P.S. Why do you always have to bring up Icardi whenever Lukaku is discussed? Do you miss him so much?
Have you seen me bring Icardi up? Or are you going to dig up posts where I reply to others who bring him up, just like you did here, and once every blue moon I bother to reply to that drivel?
My personal issue is not that Icardi is gone, couldn't care less to be frank, but that our club has been infiltrated by a mentality that is alien to its identity. And you lot have been celebrating it.
This year's Inter is the most toxic one since 2000/01.
