We often have problems with selling. We either kept players for too long (Icardi, Perisic), or sold them too early (Kovacic), let alone the flops.

Subscription required, but the TL;DR is that American courts gave us a major win as they denied one of Inter Miami's claims as to why their name should be allowed to stand. Miami still has another claim spending and the battle is long from over.

Miami's main argument remaining is that "Inter" is a description and therefore cannot be copyrighted.

I for one don't think it's okay to copyright words such as "International"... we shouldn't be winning such a lawsuit. Also there's a couple of other Inters, so there's a precedent. Not that I know anything about law but it would be unfair to prevent them from naming themselves Inter Miami if there's Inter Turku for example.

Considering the number of clubs called Inter I didn't really think this lawsuit would get anywhere. Fwiw though whenever I see "Inter Miami" I always initially think "Inter Milan". I think the Mi___ after Inter can be a bit confusing.

The good times are ending. Our sponsorship revenue is expected to be 60mil down year on year this year because of non renewal of Asian contracts as some of us called a few years ago.

Its worth mentioning there is an outside chance of a City style investigation - given some of these contracts it's not impossible we were getting owner cash via back avenues - much like City did.

Plusvalenza of icardi and perisic this summer should hopefully help a bit but we really need to get into later stages of CL and reduce player churn


Note i dont think its too likely yet - it took email leaks for City to be investigated, but they might use inter as an argument in their defence for example.
