Cambiasso could be gone before JZ even considers retirement, cambiasso did say he wants to play his final season in Argentina so I would rule him out

Inter have a captain, the best captain one can have. If it were up to me, Inter will not have a next captain. I'd rather play with ten players and a vacant captain-spot in order to pay tribute to Zanetti when he retires.

It is very hard to say. Probably Zanetti can play another 2 seasons. So it is the same discussion about the next ManUnited coach after Ferguson. It is a long time until that.
