I'll go on the record that Lippi's choices upfront are basically opposite to what I'd want.

I sincerely think that these friendlies mean next to nothing about the 'real' Italy that I expect to see in the World Cup. I'm looking for a defensively astute bunch and upfront consisting both experience and class from one of the world's best playmakers matched next to what whom I consider the best center forward in football.

If anything else, why have a negative approach to a tournament that you've been waiting for 4 long years?

I am really hoping Lippi does not start Totti against Ghana, they play some rough soccer and they are bound to target him for special treatment.

My starting line up would be a 4-3-3 with De Rossi, Barone/Perotta, Pirlo with DP, Gila and Toni up top. The back four as usual with a hopefully fit Nesta and Oddo at RB.

I think the game agaisnt Ghana is the most clutch of them all. Getting anything less than a win would pretty much see the WC campaign come to an end. We need the win against Ghana. Oh man I think I am getting an ulcer just thinking about this game. Come on Monday hurry the hell up and get here already.
