He was fantastic. Haven't seen a good CB in this shirt since 2010. Enjoy it while you can folks, because once the Inter mentality settles in his head in a few weeks (days?) he'll become Ranocchia 2.0.

It seems people just saw his two great interventions, without remembering HOW Bayern got a chance in the first place  And him being out of position for 5 times in one half is ignored. I dont wanna see that during season. Always the same story on FIF, hyping someone after decent 15 minutes. If he continues the same play, he'd be raped in the middle of Milan.

He is good 1 on 1 tho. Great fighter too, after he makes mistake, he always tries (and yesterday was successful too), to correct it. Some player are going down after mistake, not him. Which shows good character and will. Kudos for that.

First impressions and friendly must not be taken seriously. Many players have turned flop after their good first games or good friendly performances, dont get your hype up people.

So? Did anyone see Vargas in copa? And in European teams? :trollol: Have anyone seen Podolski for german NT?

Copa ratings are bullshit if you ask me, or any national team performance if you ask me. Not disregarding his performance per se, but hyping him after one mediocre to decent half is retarded. Just because our other defenders/midfielders were shit, doesn't make him beast. Don't ignore the mistakes he did, once the league starts, we will be killed if those continue.

who is hyping him? he played good, completely as expected. and he was also one of the players who stood out in copa america so ofcourse it correlates.

at least people arent hyping him before he hasnt even played like kuzmanovic who then later on turned into an epic fail. right pajo lol

He hasnt even played :D if you count 30 minutes in a friendly the fine. And no, he wasnt good. Making two crucial mistakes and being caught out of position 4-5 times is not good. No matter how good his reactions were, like that goal line clearance. Of course it shows some awareness and willingness to make his mistakes right, but those mistakes should not be happening in the first place.

PS: Saying someone is decent player is not hyping. I never said Kuzmanovic is world class or something. Just that he is decent and underrated around here. Not starting material, but decent 6th backup player or so. And i still believe that, he was that bad for us. Not schelotto like for sure.

lol, if you rano fanboys would only put half of that close attention to rano himself that would be nice. not once has that guy played a flawless match for us and still he gets defended even though he gives away at least one goalscoring opportunity to the opposition in every game he plays.

like i said, i started rating murillo after the copa. he is more than proven enough in my book. i dont care about those 30 minutes. the fact remains he got rightly applauded by the big majority of inter fans after his performance. so those mistakes you apparently saw dont mean anything. if anything he was probably cleaning up for di marco or rano :pazzini:

I remember Juan Jesus looking this good too. Hopefully Mancini doesn't derail Murillo's progress.

Having not seen him before either in Spain, for Columbia or in our previous friendlies and the hype that has surrounded him that came from FiF, i was really disappointed with his performance yesterday

Time to adjust your expectation.

I didn't watch any of his games with Columbia too, people said he was amazing with Columbia, but some players tend to overperform in special occasions in Cup competitions. So I wouldn't pay too much attention to his games with Columbia.

And plus, playing for Inter is a completely different level to playing for Columbia.

see, i dont understand this argument. how is playing in a cup different compared to a foreign league?

if anything one should be able to see how he performs in ideal circumstances with no language barrier and with good team chemistry. also this overperforming argument doesnt apply as a general rule. its all about motivation, playing for a team that aims for a CL or a scudetto should be no different than playing for a country

hansolo, we've had a lot of players at inter that impressed with their national teams but turned out pretty bad here. grosso, forlan, medel...

he's clearly a talented player but people just need to take a deep breath. he hasn't even played 90 mins for us yet.

This hype is beyond a joke, it was a completely average performance. I think Rano was slightly better.

People don't seem to get that flashy clearances and this shit doesn't go far, what does is good positioning and anticipation, it does half the work for you so you don't need to make two goal line clearances a game. So far he's JJ v2.0 for me, but considering we can't really expect him to just fit in our defence for the two days he's been with us there's still plenty of time for him to show his worth, so please - wait for some games to form an opinion and then share it with the rest of us.

1. It was his first game at Inter. He is very young and had changed team like 1-2 times. So he need to play more, before we can judge him.

2. The comments are also for his first game.

3. This feeling of Inter fans shows how we missed a defender with balls.

4. Dont forget: It was Bayern. First game at Inter and he should stop Costa-Lewandoski?

5. With Miranda he can get more experience and help.

And youre National comparings are bullshit. Podolski was at Germany and Köln only 2006-2008 a good player. He is a mascott, nothing else.
