Still no deal for Joao Mario, its very complicated, contacts continue the sum is around 40 mil and Sporting wants a bit more there are a lot of small disagreements, there are a lot of small issues, Joao Mario is not training with the team hes awaiting for the clubs to find an agreement

1. Inter offer 45m - Sporting wants 50m
2. We wants to pay the sum in 4 parts Sporting - 2 parts
3. We wants 10m for the loan, Sporting wants 15m
4. Sporting wants 10% of future sale

CdS: idea Ramires

I'd honestly rather take Ramires for one year loan than play these stupid games with Sporting. Let them rot and get fucked with their debts since they are so fucking greedy.

The stubbornness of Sporting and the constraints of Financial Fair Play mean Inter are still chasing Joao Mario with the firm intention to take him to Milan as soon as possible.

The Corriere dello Sport writes: “Bruno de Carvalho, president of the Portuguese team, was in Milan on Sunday, but his presence was not enough to get things moving, in fact he has repeatedly tried to change the tables to their advantage. One of the last requests from him was to secure 10% of a future resale of Joao Mario, followed by an attempt to raise the final price of the player to 50 million. Inter have responded with a firm no to both requests, and also they do not intend to agree to pay the amount for the purchase in two installments, they would prefer four.”

The Portuguese club have some outstanding debts with several banks and it is for this reason that the Sporting president is trying his hardest to raise the price. More complications on the deal are due to 25% of Joao Mario’s rights are owned by ‘Quality Football Ireland’.

The situation is very complicated, but Inter have every intention of wanting to resolve it quickly in order to offer a young and complete midfielder to Frank De Boer. Joao Mario will ideally take the place of Brozovic.

Can we not just say, final offer, take it or fuck off? This has went on for long enough and at this stage we're either going to get no one, or pay his stupid over the top price

Well, I've said it im my previous post: João Mário is overpriced, as well as most of the players at this point. You can blame the inflated market for that. The issue here is that Sporting's president firmly wants to keep in the club the midfield of the national squad, plus Rui Patrício. I must remember you that he didn't ask for offers, he aint want to sell, so I believe that he is entitled to ask whatever he wants. I'm afraid that, at this point, unreasonability is a prerogative that stays on his side.

Absolutely, it's his player he can ask for whatever he wants. I'm saying this more in a view to Inter management.

Feel like we probably should of had a backup deal going alongside this one for another player if only to try and force sportings hand

Of course he can ask what he wants. My rant is also towards Inter management for playing this game. Just give them that "take it or leave it" offer and move to next targets. Sporting president will suck it up, if his club is fucked financially. I doubt he will get the same price anywhere if we leave him now. Is he better with that 45m€ or with Joao Mario?

In my opinion, with the 45 m. In his opinion, with João Mário - he said from the very beggining that Sporting doesn't need to sell. Remains to be known the full extent of Inter's will. Do you know what, for Inter and Sporting, is the real problem? The timing of the operation. I believe that both sides would benefit a lot if the all thing could be clarified as soon as possible.

i wanna actually see you proove everything you write, just like when u said he had 1 year left.. if u want i can post some very interesting documents.. and no fifa is not holding any type of funds but you know this and spit your crap cuz most dont seem to second doubt you but if you google it the truth is always there.. about your transfers too.. about your president at alverca took em to bankrupcy, gate 18 I can go on all night, your only fooling yourself son.

the internet bully bad boy is back. I'm not gonna do laundry here on this forum, gal. Maybe you can post your documents about Doyen fund and how they helped you to get Rojo and Nani, and then what happened when you got the money. Oh and you can leave Benfica out of this, it's OT.

I hope Inter gets some self esteem and tells the looney toon to simply f off with his delusions. Plenty of midfielders out there worth 30M€ that can play a much more important role than joao maria, see english premier league, a lot of quality out there, or maybe if Inter had a real strategy (mid term, 5 years) to build a younger set of players that can grow and make an important appearance but only in some years (guess the purpose of the newly investors is cut to the chase rather than waiting).

joao mario is world class but wc is better! (make no mistake about the toilet)

50M€ for joao mario is a bargain, pay atention to the user sporting libian fan, he knows everything because he was in Boom festival in idanha-a-nova and they smoke pipes (2 of them went OD yesterday because of the game level of joao mario)
BOOM Festival is on my bucket list! Too bad I couldn't attend the 2014 Anniversary edition [SOLD OUT - 150k crazy hippies] O.Z.O.R.A. 3 years in a row was hardcore, though.

It seems that we are overpaying for JM because Kia has a huge influence on the club since the Chinese took over.

*#*?"!=#*%&

I’d love to know what motivates a benfica’s fan to register in this forum only to mistreat a player from another club. Even I, who am a Sporting fan, think there are more important things in life. Have you ever thought about going to the beach? Come on, man, it’s for your own sake, read all the posts behind, everybody is teasing you.

Isnt it done
I think for now we will play the first match and see what we are messing and then if we really need him Inter will push for him, but if we do play and can do it with another alternative then I think we will manage without him or plan B player
But this transfer saga is really getting ridiculous

From Portugal: #JoaoMario deal still has statement payments agreement pending. Talks were on going this morning concerning this.

Clubs are facing a dead-end in the coming hours. #Sporting unflexible and they demanding 2 payments in 2017 for #JoaoMario

#JoaoMario has insisted he wants to leave and missed training sessions yesterday. The affaire is coming to the end.

- - - Updated - - -

So lets open your eyes why the deal is LOCKED for now!

If we pay 35m next year we will start next summer mercato from -65.5m, why?

We must pay for Miranda (15m) for Eder (10m) and for Candreva (5.5m) + 35m that Sporting wants next year for Joao = 65.5m

For that reason we wants to pay the obl. in 2 years!

If we accept Sporting deal for Joao Mario (10m + 35m obl. next year) - Icardi will leave 100% next summer if we dont reach CL! If we reach CL group stage we will add +40m at leasts so we can keep Icardi!
