Nicolas Jacquemard - According to several sources, Olympique de Marseille is closely monitoring the situation of Joaquin Correa. Olympique de Marseille would like him to be loaned out with a purchase option of 15 million euros.

I'm just trying to picture how incompetent an attack of Correa and Aubamayeng would be.

This guy is stuck, Inter can't get what they invested, he can't get the salary Inter is paying so!ewhere else, and he looks so depressed, which combined with the fact he's been out of form makes him the most useless memeber of the squad.

I don't think he is actually this bad, but he'll never prove it at Inter.

I agree with you about everything but one thing. I don't think he looks depressed or is depressed. I think he is just fine with his role at Inter. I mean, ofc he would like to play more and play better. But still, he is not bothered by the current situation. Otherwise, there would be some news of him forcing a transfer out.

If we look beyond the outliers of Messi and peak Ibra, there are three types of 'good' players

- Skilled and passionate: e.g. Barella, Calhanoglu, Eto'o
- Dependable and calm: e.g. Darmian, Acerbi, Cambiasso
- Streaky but hardworking: e.g. Lautaro, Dimarco, Maicon

Correa doesn't fall into any of these categories. He's neither skilled nor calm. The most annoying thing is his lack of passion and work rate. If anyone is not happy about the work environment, he just needs to look for a new job. Simple as that. Instead he's just sitting around, neither requesting to be put on the transfer list nor fighting for a starting spot. This is as good as investing in the Russian stock market prior to the war - it just needs to be written off even if the thing is still there.

Correa is definitely skilled.

But he's just useless. At least others in his position could produce a moment every now and then. He barely does it once a season.

I think Correa’s lack of ambition is also related to his injuries. I think he is an injury- prone player.

Lack of ambition could be related to many things. Many footballers fail to fully dedicate themselves to this job for a long time. They get rich and famous at a very young age and that's enough for them not to give a shit anymore.

Correa is not as bad as he was as an Inter player. Injuries affected him for sure, but he was never that good to be brought here for 30m. Signing him was a mistake.

Why on earth would the Saudies want Correa? He isn’t a big name and he never was. He didn’t show anything at all in his career, especially not at Inter. Those guys can practically buy 50 strikers who are a bigger name and a better fit for them. I have zero hopes he will leave us this summer. No one wants to pay his salary. And rightfully so.

I think he cost the most for us annually now. Worth every penny right?

Sadly not even an unreliable source suggesting that Correa might leave

Correa can't be a starter in Al-Nassr or Al-Hilal, but he can do well in the rest of teams, he was good at Lazio, it's just he doesn't have the work ethic to take it to the next level, unfortunately his value dropped big time so max they will offer is 5-10m.
