Excuse me, but who the fuck is John Carew??

--

"I am ready, I feel good because I've worked with the squad for the past two weeks. I've travelled, I've made a movie, but now I'm ready to give my all for Inter. I didn't expect this call - one of life's surprises."

I thought he just got to Milan... I guess phone calls count as work.

I just want to emphasize again that Carew must be in OPTIMAL physical condition. He's only playing here for half a season, and if he can't play all of the games we need him to play due to bad fitness level then he shouldn't come.

Our season seems like it's fucked so we should probably give the youngsters a chance since it's fucked anyway. Not give some player who haven't been playing since July his last paycheck while sitting on the bench passing bottles a la Rocchi.

Edit. Just read this shit on Carew's twitter page.

That was on January 30th. CAN WE STAY AWAY FROM HIM PLEASE?

More reasons why Carew is a bad signing

He said today that he is fit to play and had has been training since he left West Ham.

Fuck him. Play Schelotto as striker.
It must be really depressing to be a youth player of Inter. You don't tell me there is absolutely NO striker in he youth who we can promote?

300.000 euro's thrown in the water tbh.

Pure retardation, and it goes on. This board will never learn.

didn't this guy play for Rosenborg? I think to remember him in those old days, man I was a little fucker with 10 or 11 years old and liked this guy. Now I am 25 and he comes to Inter, this can only be a flop :yao:

And he still would provide more than Carew + Rocchi, and costs us nothing. Even though he's shit. I mean we trained the guy :palm:

What we got to lose?

- - - Updated - - -

Garritano is a winger right? Or is he more a second striker. Either way he plays up front. What we got to lose? I don't understand this management/board. When clubs are lacking players, they give their youth a chance. But we? Naaah, retired players.

We have no one up front who can win a header. Palacio and Cassano are worthless at it. They aren't great at holding the ball up, either, because both are small by footballing standards.

So if Carew is used properly then I have no problem with it. He will have to prove his worth if he wants to stick around longer than 3 months, though!

Are you serious? If Forte is not good enough for the primavera, you think he will do better than Rocchi or Carew in Serie fucking A?

I think you are taking your enthusiasm for youth a bit too far!

Enthusiasm? This is no enthusiasm. Do I say Forte is good? No. But he would cost us nothing.

And lolol better than Rocchi or Carew? What's the difference between an 33+ striker sitting on the bench and a primavera striker on the bench? 1.100.000 € (Rocchi 800.000 + Carew 300.000)

How anybody can stand behind this transfer is beyond me

To do that, John fucking Carew will have to score more goals in the next 3 months than he has in the last 3 years! In short, no fucking way. 3 months, and then he can fuck off.

Our Beckham. :yao:

But it's perfect: When Cassano has a heart attack in minute 60th we can bring in Rocchi. 20 minutes later, when all of Rocchis ligaments were torn, we can bring in Carew.

Carew the movie star, and now we are trying to enter Hollywood to make a fortune.

Good move by our management, we should make a film about us while we're at it, a comedy. Rowan Atkinson to cast as Stramaccioni.

15 days trial period, that's the smart thing to do.
