Thanks to everyone for the hilarious comments about how shitty Inter's recent FW signings have been. :genius:

OH BTW we're still in the race for a CL spot and hanging around in Europa League!

Carew on a 15 day contract should not be more of a focus than the Derby draw.

Then he really will be useless for us. Because if we got him for flair, dribbling, technical skills and nice one twos...

TBH he said by himself when he was at his top in Valencia that heading is one of his weakest sides.

Instead of attacking duo Longo – Livaja, now we’ll have Rocchi – Carew… :palm:

Longo will never be big imo. Livaja can.

Fuck that project shit you are talking about. Both were loaned out/co-owned to play, so really, cut the crap. If they could play as much as Rocchi and Carew will, then there's no point of keeping them anyway. Besides, both are here TILL THE END OF THE FUCKING SEASON! Bullshit and unneeded players, but not a big deal. Ffs...

I think Longo could still be very good. Remember, a lot of the guys who went out last year (Biraghi, Donati, etc) barely played in Serie B. Now they are regular starters and sometimes weekly stars.

Longo is going through a very important developmental phase right now, some of his movement for the goals he's scored at espanyol has been world class, i have a lot of faith in him. what he needs now is a full season of starting week in week out - no matter what the level.

Well, I haven't watched Longo at all in Espanyol.

But from the short time they played in Inter, I could tell that Longo has a slightly bigger range of technical skill set than Livaja, e.g. ball control, dribbling, first touch, and that can't be bad for a striker.

longo works well as a poacher with some movement, very similar to milito in some regards.

Longo played 951 minutes for Espanyol and scored 3 goals and had 2 assists. Thats not that good but not that bad either!

The other strikers, Garcia played 1228 minutes and scored 4 goals and had 2 assists.

Stuani played 1097 minutes with 4 goals and 3 assists.

So Longo isn't that bad at Espanyol, a club who is in the lower half of the SPL.

as a matter of fact, even calling Julio R. Cruz back for the tall header forward role would be more decent and reasonable than this guy.

Yes of course but I guess most of the poster here don't know how he is doing as most of them won't watch games of Espanyol.

I really hope Rocchi is pushing himself extra hard... I wouldn't mind seeing two cambiasso's on the field...
