t'was another case of lost in translation. Mourinho has said something on the line like both Moratti and Zanetti should stay...He has meant both are more important to Inter on the longer run. In all fairness Inter now earned a more massive political clout on the back of a CL win, saving the coefficients etc...eventually bigger bragging rights with the figc...these metrics should eventually count in favour if Inter once the calciopoli begins...Also Faccheti has too much respect even amongst rivals, dont think figc would have the guts to damage his name along with Inter on the back of a thin phonecall.
yes..this is what he meant.he meant guys like president and zanetti are more important to this club than him.he said that because media are trying to potray us like Porto or some small team and we would play in europa league qualification if mou left.Mou made it clear that nothing would go wrong with or without him if there is a president like Moratti and a captain like zanetti..

Javier Zanetti,
I think there is a 30% chance of him staying. We will see how the meeting between Mourinho and Moratti goes. This is the moment that will decide Jose's future. I don't care what the press says. I will only follow the meeting.

Javier Zanetti,
Inter is always first, but seeing him leave like that still hurts you know!!....Out of the 28 coaches from 1965 until now, he is the best one. I am not only worried about his possible departure, but about who will be our next coach!!....We cannot follow Bilan and RuBentus and bring in average coaches.

Some people need to wake up and smell the coffee. Mou is gone, whether you want to accept it or not is irrelevant. He is already giving interviews/acting as real manager.

That's exactly my state of mind at the moment ^^^.

To me Jose is already a Madrid coach, and I'm looking forward to the future with unlimited faith in Massimo.

Inter is always first, but seeing him leave like that still hurts you know!!
Sure it hurts. It should, especialy to the ones who didn't want him in the first place, or didn't find any improvement (in CL) after first season ;)

On more serious note, it's only a coach. Sure it's one of the best, and might be the best coach for Inter and our environment, but we still might get a great coach.

If say Mourinho is 10/10, we might still get a 9/10, or even 9.5/10 if we get one of the Capello/Hiddink.

Mihajlovic is 1, maybe 1.5/10 if we're on that topic :p

Going back to Jose. I love him, but he is the past now, and we're inter fans, not Jose fans. It was great to see him bash the media in Italy, and those were great moments to me. But my dream got realised, so I'm not that sad he is leaving.

I have faith in Moratti, and I have faith in Branca.

Also, don't forget the Chelsea case. Mourinho leaves a stamp on a team. The players are not the same anymore, and we still can do a lot next year, or the year after, even without Jose.

I'm pretty confident to be honest, and actually I want to draw Real for the CL next year, to kick his ass :D:D:D

ps. Jose will be always the legend though, that will never change.

To me as a person who didn't like Jose in the first place, watching his departure is really hard. But, Jose did what non of our last coaches could! Yes, he won everything, but most importantly, he made our players believe in them selfs, he broke a "curse". I know everyone is a lil bit heartbroken, i am, and i bet even our players are at this point. But dammit, there is only Inter for us. Sure this was like a dream, we had the best coach in the world two days ago, we don't even know who is gonna be on our path tomorrow, but i trust our president, and i trust our guys. And i really hope we are the ones to kick Real's ass in CL next year!

I respect this man and I wish him well wherever he goes and hope he will achieve his goals. I thank him for his time here and for accomplishing what he was brought in to do.

However, his actions the past few days have been shallow. His declarations really took away from our celebrations. I guess we just got some of his character thrown at us for a change... He couldn't have waited maybe 1 week until the celebrations died down before practically announcing his departure...His actions will leave a sour taste in many people's mouths and I really hoped it wouldn't have ended like this. Shame.

Now, he is like any other adversary. I respect him but if we ever must face him we must destroy him. It was nice having Mourinho, now we must move on. I have full faith in our management that our club will maintain the high standards we have come to enjoy.

Solo Inter.

Regardless of what's been said, he delivered us our first CL title in 45 years and for that I'll always be thankful to him. When it's all said and done, I think he'll go down as one of the greatest managers of all time. That being said, this isn't like going from Porto to Chelsea Mou. Don't think you'll be able to take our important players unless Perez wants to pay out the ass for them.

HEY guys...no one is talking about this...but should Mou really leave (I still think he will stay but hey maybe I am just hyper optimistic) who is in the works to replace him?

For Mou case I think that the reason he might not want to wait for another week before declaration probably because he will get convinced by Moratti, Branca, and the players to stay. And of course they will do everything to keep him at the club. He is quite emotional and he might change his heart (I believe his heart was set at departure.) So he decided to announce the departure immediately.

In any case, he is the greatest coach we have had within the past few decades and will be remembered as Legend. Being an Inter supporter for like 15++ year, the night Zanetti lift up the big ear Cup is the happiest moment I experienced as an Inter Fan.
