You can just see the difference in technical quality between him and Dumfries on Thuram's goal. If that was Dumfries, 7 times out of 10 he would miscontrol the pass and that extra few seconds would limit the opportunity to score.

Not picking on Denzel as he has other strengths, but it just shows the importance of a good first touch.

Poor performance tonight is not my big concern tbh but his injury and not being reliable is the problem.
After Hakimi, we haven’t had anyone even close to him.
If we can find a proper replacement, the performance would be improved significantly

Funny how Darmian is our best RWB as far performances go and he isn't even bombing forward as much as Carlos Augusto, Dumfries, Cuadrado and Dimarco are.

Darmian is very intelligent. He's very well aware of situations, and he usually makes proper decisions. That's giving him an edge over the rest, because he tends to make difference with basic things.

I'm just resigned to think that Dumfries is too inconsistent to be a first team player here. I'm ready for the next starter to come here.

Yup, even though Dumfries has some major limitations, I don't think it's a coincidence that his bad form came around the time Inzaghi started mentioning he was worried about his physical condition. I believe it was before the away game vs. Salzburg that Inzaghi started saying Dumfries wasn't at his peak physically. Seems that he has been struggling since then.

Haha that’s why I hate the guy. Just would destroy plays for Colombia. Would get in scoring position or his team makes are wide open and he would dive or look for a foul because it worked at Juve. Well doesn’t work with other teams

For 1 year on lower wages and how much it pisses off Juve fans not bad. I just hope we don’t keep him another season

His sub appearances have been a mixed bag since the international break. He's had some positive ones (Juve, Napoli) and some negative ones (Benfica, Udinese). His biggest issue is that he'll try an unnecessary dribble when it's better to play a simple pass to an open teammate. He just needs to keep it simple at times.

Honestly cant remember too many mistakes that cost us this season...
On the other hand he was decisive a couple of games this season and rather good overall..
Think a lot of the critizism he gets is still due to him fucking up big time in his first derby d italia.....
Imho dude was pretty damn good pretty much for all of 2023.....

Inter fear Cuadrado needs Achilles surgery​

Inter could be forced to go back onto the transfer market in January, as there are reports Juan Cuadrado’s Achilles tendon issue requires a surgical intervention.

According to Sky Sport Italia, it flared up yet again following the 0-0 Champions League draw with Real Sociedad on Tuesday evening.

The medical staff are now concerned that Cuadrado can only resolve it once and for all with surgery, which could keep him out for a couple of months. It is also a risky operation, considering the Colombia international turned 35 in May.

There are also suggestions Carlos Augusto is trying a new role on the right, as he is normally on the left or even in the back three.
