Rano - Andreolli has to be the starting CB pair. We cannot continue to play Juan until the end of the season or we'll be in free fall like Roma.

Hopefully he'll get loaned out somewhere at the end of the season. I love his passion for the club, but the dude is just a liability right now.

I don't see what good a loan would do for him. He's 23 and just happens to be in the worst form of his (Inter) career.

If he gets loaned his Inter career is over. He's too old for a developmental loan spell. If we wanted to do that we should have done it when he was 20 not 24 (which he will be at the start of next season).

Just bench him for a while and let him get his mind right. The pressure has gotten to him and continuously putting him out there will only make the mental scares worse as he continues to falter. He will keep regressing if he keeps playing. The best thing to do is sit him 4-5 games and let him gradually earn his spot back. That will give him more confidence than continuously being thrown to the wolves.

Juan is absolutely think that he's the star of this team.
How can a defender walk like that meanwhile Rano is chasing the wing?
After the goal you can see Juan pointing the linesman, thought it was an offside. WTF?

Wtf? Is it either play him or sell him? He should be benched that's all, it's not like we have lots of defenders, Vidic will surely be out next season so we'll be short in CB, he can make a perfect backup, and will surely get some playing time here and there, also he is 23 and he has passion, he can always improve.

He'll be perfect as a backup. That makes it Rano with a new CB which is an absolute MUST. Rano, Murillo, JJ, Andreolli and a new CB.

He sucks. We should definitely sell him and get a real defender.

Are you sure? In my mind central defenders tend to mature later and therefore often are not at their best until their mid-late 20s

How many starting CBs in Italy are his age? I'm curious too, so here:
De Vrij 23
Tonelli 25
Yanga Mbiwa 25
Koulibaly 23
Savic 24
Manolas 23
Rugani 20
Romagnoli 20
Munoz 24
Capuano 23

I'm still a little on the fence. Although I think every CB there has probably had a better season than JJ with the exception of maybe Capuano who I don't watch enough to comment on

It's not like he's had one, two or three months of poor form, he's been getting steadily worse every season. I'm not saying loaning him out is the solution, but there's a real problem.

I'm gonna post this in Wolfsburg, Rano and JJ thread, so sorry for a triple post.

You see Juan jogging looking at Rano and De Bryune and left Caligiuri unoticed.
And you see the space between Rano and Juan? man, how can a central defender positioned like that, he should know that de bryune can easily cross it with no defender. Fuck it.
This is how bad JJ is.
He's beast, aggresive, emotional, passionate, but his lack of tactical and positioning make him like an amateur defender.
An amateur central defender.

Time to try him as a LB, cuz he clearly sucks as a CB

That makes no sense to me. I don't see how he has the skills to play LB

Well if he doesn't have the skills to play at LB than he sure doesn't have them to play at CB

No, it's the opposite. His best skill is his one-on-one tackling. Some of drawbacks at CB is that he makes bad decisions, lacks ball control, and struggles to pass the ball under pressure. So the idea of moving him to a position where he will do less of what he is best at, and do more of what he is worst at?
