If this is true this is a real dick move on his part. Money grubbing mercenary is what this guy is. Cough Ibra

Come on man.

Why should he agree to anything that sees him lose out on money? Inter signed that contract just like he did. Now that we decide we want to lower wages, you expect him to just give us millions? As Clay Davis would say, sheeeeeeiiiiiiiiiiiiit.

It was rumoured that the difference in salaries over the next 2 years would be paid by us to him. We may never know the real figures but I'm reasonably sure it will be around 3m.

Didn't see anything saying that. I would think somewhere between 1-2m. He wants to leave anyway and Inter can argue that he got a 4 year contract instead of the 2 year one he had at the club.

3m sounds kinda high.

Eto'o gave us Millions to make his transfer go through, Handa did the same with Udinese. If JC didn't care about the WC or playing time then you would have a point, but staying at Inter is really really bad in his point of view. Yeah, he will get a ton of money, but he will lose any chance he had to play the WC. So he wants this deal to happen too.

Huh?

You mean Eto'o who signed a contract to become the highest paid footballer in the world?

And Handanovic who is making more money over more years than he was at Udinese?

In no way did they give up money.

Poll added, though I think the result will probably be pretty obvious.

I guess you better get roudn to editing your post.

And many others who thought naively that we didn't think of offering JC a lower wage deal and that we simply one day decided to ship him off.

But to JC, lots of love and best of luck. Will follow his career in England.

I prefer let the post like what the first time i write... I'm just shock and still can't believe is that the truth why he prefer leaving...

what? how did eto'o give us millions to make his transfer go through?

or, in fact, how did handanovic do it?

We owed Eto'o a few millions in unpaid salary, and he gave it up in order to bridge the transfer fee gap between Inter and Anzhi at the time to push the transfer through.

Handanovic did something similar, he slightly reduced his already agreed wage fee to get the two clubs to sign off on the transfer.

Cassano also paid part of the money owed to Real Madrid in future transfer % to make sure his transfer to Milan went through.

You all are acting as this is new information. Players doing this is a common enough occurrence.
