Have you ever been to Italy? Have you ever had close encounters with Italians, ie friendship, colleagues etc?
I lived in the UK for 6 years, I've experienced racism there from 3 separate British ethnic groups whilst there and also had similar encounters when I was much younger, mostly in Scotland. Do I post it online? Nope. First of all, I didn't give a fuck. I was laughing it off because it felt too funny. Do I find it normal? Sure I do. I don't care if people are behaving like morons, it's their right. Their aim was to tease me and make me lose my cool. Why? Because that's human nature. Not individual person's nature, but human. Humans like to blend in groups and do stupid things together to people outsider their group. This is why you find some stupid kid gangs chasing stray cats and dogs around the world, or throwing rocks at birds and that kind of stuff. They're being assholes of course, but it's not like what they're doing is alien to humanity.
Now magnify this human nature thing with a group of thousands of people that are in a stadium, where "everything goes", and you have the Ultras. Not just in Italy, but almost everywhere. Surely, in most European countries they've stopped doing this monkey business but it still exists, even in developed countries.
The Curva Nord is made up of every kind of person, but its voice is made up of its leadership. And you can only lead this kind of group if you're a genuine asshole. Someone that doesn't abide by political correctness and someone who speaks his mind despite not being the brightest person in the room. It's led by the people who are at that spot because they're good at beating other teams' fans, or have stolen other ultras groups' banners. Having said that, as moronic as these people may be to the casual fan, they are an honest bunch. They've pretty much explained their stance. You didn't like their stance in the first place and you wanted them to apologize for existing, it's a typical snowflake era reaction. The only reason you are overreacting is because you don't want them to have any voice, because you're ashamed of their existence as a person/fan or whatever. Well, they exist. Sorry. Life's not fair and not everyone lives by the same rules.
Just because this issue is more sensitive in other places it doesn't mean that you have to enforce it to other people. It's very ironic, because in the UK the top heads of their hooligan firms (they still exist) are fucking racists themselves. Nobody bothers with them though, let's just blame Italy and ignore the dozens of fist fights and broken bottle fights that take place in the UK with football hooligans every week, just not within 1km of the stadium so it's not really a "football problem".
In Japan there's a law against being fat. Go annoy them at thier forums for fat shaming.
