Might be unpopular opinion but imo this coming summer is the time to cash in on him. We all know that one of our stars has to be sacrificed this coming summer and I would pick Lautaro. He’s outdone himself this season and his value is at its peak; it’s going to be hard emulating what he’s done this season again so we might as well sell him at his peak. Spend the money on Gudmundsson and strengthen other areas of the team.

Just like what we did with Onana last season.
I would consider this too. Its good business. Inter needs become a squad that just finds players cheap like Lautaro, Hakimi and Onana uses them and then flips them when their values are high. Just keep doing that. The results will come and so will the capital gains.

with right offer marotta would sell both lautaro and thuram in one mercato

with around 100 mil for lautaro and 60 for thuram i would sell them too

its just a right time to sell

as for gudmundsson i hope for some youngster/pay later option, i would never spend pure money on him and for sure not 30 mil

There have previously been plenty of rumours suggesting we will likely receive such an offer for Martinez this summer. He is gone if such offer do land on the desk, neither Marotta nor whoever our owner is will ever say no to such sums… It also means they can avoid paying that pay rise he is set to get.

That said we aren’t selling both in one mercato. But I would not be shocked if we sell two profiles truth be told.

I've read a crazy rumor in one Bulgarian site today. It's about Man U considering to pay 170mln for Lautaro in the summer. There is no source though.

Doubt he'd want to go, even if I don't believe the rumour. He seems to prioritise sporting success above money, and there's no way Man U's project is better than what he has here. Assuming they do offer enough of a pay rise to interest him anyway.

You're basically giving Lautaro away for just 80m. Højlund is still too raw to carry a team like Inter forward, I mean, he's a great prospect, but not what exactly we'd want to replace someone like Lautaro.

Besides, we already have Esposito whom is also a great prospect.

Thats some weird logic right there. So because Højlund is raw he has no value?

Also Esposito is nowhere near Højlunds talent, despite being older.

Regardless, United is obviously not getting rid of Højlund after 1 season.

Seriously comparing Esposito and Hojlund on being a prospect? Ridiculous. 1 scored 5 goals in Champions League and the other one scored 5 goals in Serie fucking B.

Lol again with X goal in Y matches?

My point was that Esposito is also an exceptional talent whom I'd still give a chance if we are about to bring a talent to develop in here. I'm not arguing if he's better than Højlund, so stop jumping into conclusions like a girl on her period.

Noone is on her period, stop being a kid with all these nonsense insult. My point is you can't even compare the two. "Exceptional talent" wouldn't be playing in Serie B two years in a row.

The x goal in y matches was to show you how extreme the difference in between those 2 talent.

Your post says Hojlund is rated 0$ hence the ridiculous part.

The fact is that he is always out of our reach. 5 in 6 CL matches at 20 at a chaotic team...not even an established striker can come close. Show his crazy ceiling.

Maybe Esposito has talent too but that isnt the same tier. A versus D or something. If you say we dont have 80m hence must use Esposito it is okay. But saying we dont need Hojlund coz we have a random nobody is too much. Fox disparages green grapes at its best.

Haha, not giving any effort by discussing this. My point was completely something else, and I didn't think that people would come up with X goals in Y matches.

My bad. Maybe I'm just too old school when it comes to judging football in overall. As long as I can see myself how a player/team does, I don't need stats to influence my opinion in this matter. Højlund is a great prospect as well, but like I said, my point was something else.

I'd suggest you guys to pay less attention to these robotic stuff.
