According to Sky, Inter will save 14 million Euros with this operation, which is not bad at all, considering that the money can be re-invested in a great player, but, the bad part is that knowing Branca, it will be invested in Sculli and Mudingayi.

I cannot understand how media is all about how good deal this is and how much money we will save. The truth is that we just recently gave that contract to Lucio.

Have you guys saw the pattern how we make decisions like Lucio contract, givin Destro & Longo away and now wanting him back...

I have no fucking clue what they are doing.

So he can be signed by anybody who wants him and gives him a good offer since hes a free agent.
Now as bad as he was last season, he can still stabilize himself with a steady solid Juve defense around him. With us he was not the only headless chicken in the backcourt.

I agree, the contract extension was kinda stupid. We really should make it a policy not to allow contract negotiations throughout the year, and only allow them during the transfer market. Players coming in at the end of the season bitching about contracts is really annoying.

Let's see what happens first before we all lose our shit.

Lucio vs Ibra/Drogba in the CL knockouts was one of the most dominant displays I have ever witnessed.

I don't understand this interest in Lucio though. Of course I understand it from a gobbi point of view, he's a hugely experienced 'once world class' player. But from the other viewpoint.. wtfuck?

Like many of us, I was under the impression he left because he felt he couldn't compete at this level anymore, and that's why he was going to a lesser league to earn some final cash. If that is true, then it makes no sense. He changed his mind all of a sudden? He IS good enough again? He decides he's got another year or two left? If he wanted the money, why not just stay at Inter?

Now, if he left because he wanted Juventus. If he rescinded his contract because there was already an agreement to join Juventus, then fuck him to hell and back.

I got the impression that our management wanted Lucio gone and I they just wanted that huge contract removed and didnt care much about getting money out of transfering him to another club.

Aren't you lads worried about a Pirlo situation here? He could find new inspiration and this become an embarrassment.

A Pirlo situation? Really?

He's 34 and has declined rapidly in the 3 years he's been here. Best case for Juve is that he becomes a valuable rotation player for a few years.

edit: nvm, you obviously mean a Milan-to-Juve Pirlo situation, not a Inter-to-Milan Pirlo situation.

Still - I'm not that worried, I can't see him being anything more than a squad player there (which speaks to the quality of their back line as much as it does his decrease in quality)

I don't think he left because he felt he couldn't compete or any of that. I think this was more our doing than his. I think us trying to undo the fuck-up of idiotically extending his contract at ridiculous wages until he's 36 years old was the main driver. And really, I can't blame him for wanting a golden handshake and really can't blame him for wanting to stay in the country he's made his home for the last 3 years and play for a top team. He has the right to sign for Juve and we have the right to tell him to choke on a bag of dicks.

As you know social networking sites were the cause of the fall of the Heads of State, so I will try through this page to make Marco Branca to get out from the club also to make Massimo Moratti appointed Oriali as a sporting director

What I don't like about this is he came fetching for a golden handshake so he could leave for the Turkish league at a lower Salary. We obviously refused, and were able to negotiate a contract termination (Not too bad seeing as we weren't going to be getting much in transfer fee for him anyway). He then turns around and signs for Juve??

If Juve aren't going to start him then the whole thing makes no sense whatsoever. He had a 2 year contract left with us, even if he wasn't part of our future plan he could have hung around our bench and got paid more than what Juve offer.

Are Juve really going to start current form Lucio?

Lucio did it all on purpose, Gobbicalled him and told him to fuck our UCL chances... and he would have some years sucking pirlo's cock...
