Agree. He is very young and came from a lot weaker championship a few weeks ago. Yesterday he found himself up against a team whose brutal space and strength was too much to handle even for more experienced team mates. Talented young lads can shine in a team that plays good and can give them support, but when the team is all over the place they are the last to expect something from. His performance was below par, but the greatest underperformers were still Chivu, Pereira, Gargano and Cassano for me.

Whenever he's played in a more advanced role and given the freedom to roam he's shown his ability to find space, demand the ball, distribute in a neat manner, run the ball up and draw fouls.

When given more defensive duties in a deeper role; he's positioning and tactical awareness has been that of a yellow crayon.

He might learn to adapt to a deeper role in the future but right now he seems much more suited to playing a more advanced, free role.

There was this instance when Kova gave a pass to Gargano, and Gargano was so used to receiving shit passes all game, he was preparing for Kova's pass to be intercepted. But it didn't, it was inch perfect

He needs playing time, and with him on the pitch, i have no doubt the team itslef will improve. What good if he doesn't even play? Let him get used to Serie A, and with few fresh faces and better TEAM, can boss next season.
