I was exaggerating comparing him to kuz and mundingayi but the first 2 matches he has been consistently poor. Really offered next to nothing in midfield. And this isn't a pointed attack, most ratings and general commentary has felt the same way.

I looked at our players and their computed characteristics and Vecino's abilities are the most interesting, because they tell what we all think. He is bad.
Basically he only play short passes and commits lot of errors which lead to opponents goal (concentration).
But has some interesting defensive abilities like blocking the ball and defensive contribution. So I tried to find some replacement for this dude with similar characteristics, but better.
First that came to mine is Arthuro Vidal and SMS as you can see on the images. But doing some research I found some possibilities: Mehdi Bourabia from Sassuolo and João Paulo from Brazil.
Also Mario Götze has good characteristics, just lacks those defensive attributes of Vecino.

We need to replace him, because having someone who creates statistically lot of chances for the opponent is really bad.

Vecino is kind of lost at the point. Neither him, nor the team seems to be sure what his role is. At least under Spalletti, we knew what to expect from him.

I hope Conte drills him into the mould where he can come on at 70' and pose an attacking threat. I think he would be best utilised there.

Both Vecino and Gagliardini can do alot better than what they are currently doing. Its important they reach better form, or we will have to get a midfielder in january. I'm thinking Castrovilli, but he is probably too expensive.

Castrovili has looked good so far this season. Should keep an eye on him.

But hey, it's fucking Fiorentina. They'll quote a ridiculous number, or he will say no to us, or both, and Juve will get him for cheap.
